Nearby Ashbourne is a market town boasting an cobbled alleys, market stalls and fine inns and restaurants. The town is also regarded as an antique haven. Foroutdoor pursuits, Carsington Water is a renowned water sports centre offering sailing and activities including walking, bird watching, cycling and bridleways, Alton Towers is 45 minutes away.
