Beautiful property.. Great location for walks. Managed to park outside the cottage every day. We had a wonderful week.

Beautifully clean, home from home.. Extra precautions taken due to the current COVID 19 situation to help keep everyone safe which did not hinder the enjoyment of our holiday. Perfect quiet location to enjoy surrounding beauty spots and attractions, would definitely recommend.

The service from Sykes was quite poor with the Covid 19 issues.. But the cottage itself was brilliant. The bed is the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.

This is a lovely property in Stoney Middleton.. A great location for visiting The Peak district. The property is on a steep hill as others have mentioned so walking and parking may cause difficulty, but this did not for us though. Willow View has a lovely warm atmosphere in the property and has been renovated to a high standard. We will return as we felt really at home here.

The cottage is on a very steep hill.. You will not get parked outside the cottage as the people who live there put their cars outside the property. you either have to park down the hill, or up the hill which is a bit annoying.

Lovely little cottage in a great location.. Beautifully clean and well equipped with everything you would need for a self catering break. Super comfy beds and plenty of storage in the bedrooms. Bakewell is only a 10 minute drive away, and there is a large Spa shop only a few minutes drive away. Highly recommend the fish and chip shop a short walk from the cottage, absolutely delicious! The Old Eyre pub between Bakewell and Stoney Middleton is also worth a visit, dog friendly and great food.

Cottage was perfect.. Only issue for us was the on street parking when we were out until late, but there is a public car park opposite the Lover's Leap garage which is only a brisk 10 minute walk away and as a bonus takes you past the excellent Toll Bar fish & chip shop.

Fantastic cottage with some lovely walks and facilities nearby.. Excellent stay would thoroughly recommend it. Only thing to be aware of is that it is on a very steep hill.

Very cosy and very clean.. The kitchen utensils were plentiful only one tiny criticism is there not much room to put groceries that don't need to be refrigerated. Not complaining just a commjent. Otherwise perfect.

We were pleased with the cottage which was as good in real life as shown in the photos.. Very well equipped with plenty of everyday cooking essentials which not all cottages have. (oil, flour, salt and pepper, salad cream etc)

A great cottage and location - but parking may be an issue - up a steep lane..

Cottage was all we hoped for, but we were not aware that it was situated on such a steep hill.. Anyone not fully fit, would have struggled with both the climb both up and down the hill. It would also be helpful if the Free-sat channels were listed in the guide provided by the owners. We did however have a great time!

The cottage was lovely, comfy, well equipped.. Great location, for walks, restaurant/pubs, near to other lovely villages and towns to visit, also had a fab chip shop nearby, probably the best I've had!! Great price for the cottage would definitely stay again. Thank you!

February 2018
This wonderful cottage was a 'home from home' during our short stay.. The owners have thought of everything to ensure everyone's comfort. From the exceedingly comfortable beds, with goose feather duvets to the well equipped kitchen. The cosy lounge was provided with a variety of games and pastimes to suit every age and with a multitude of books and local maps. The log-burning stove was one of the most efficient that we have experienced. We were glad of it during our Winter break. Our stay was cut short unfortunately due to the severe weather, 'the beast from the east' threw its full weight at us and so we left the cottage a day earlier than expected. There was a possibility of being 'snowed in', and then overstaying our allotted time. However should this have been the outcome we would have been extremely comfortable. We have all agreed to return to 'Willow View' later this year when the weather is more favourable.
