There is a king-size bedroom, serviced by a shower room. Outside there is a side non-enclosed garden with patio and furniture, plus roadside parking. Within 0.4 miles or less you will find a shop, a pub, and a river, and please note this is a smoke-free property. One well-behaved pet welcome. Area
Pentre is a pretty riverside village settled close to the incredible scenery of the Bannau Brychein (Brecon Beacons) National Park. The Town offers local shops to browse at your leisure, convenience stores for all of your holiday essentials, as well as a charming selection of cafes, pubs, and restaurants, with options including The Old School Tea Rooms, The Queens Head, and The Best Cafe. The town rests beside the Rhondda River, where there are walks towards Pentre Barracks, as well as trails at Ty'n-y-Bedw, leading out into the countryside. More amenities can be found at the close by towns of Treorchy, Bridgend where there is also Coity Castle, and Cardiff with its football stadium, beach, and shops. Seaside trips can also be enjoyed at Port Talbot and Ogmore, where there is the impressive Ogmore Castle. The Bannau Brychein National Park is only a short drive from the village, offering ample opportunities for hiking, birdwatching, and mountain biking, with places to visit including Brecon Mountain Railway, watersports at Pontsticill Reservoir, Sgwd y Pannwr, Henrhyd Falls, and National Showcaves Centre for Wales.
