Meillion consists of a kitchen with oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and breakfast bar for six and a living/dining room with Smart TV and dining table for six. The bedrooms consist of a double with en-suite walk-in shower, single, and family room with double and bunk. There is a ground-floor shower room with walk-in shower, basin, and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels included in the rent. Outside, there is a courtyard with patio and off-road parking for one car, plus roadside parking available. One well-behaved dog welcome, but sorry, no smoking. Shop 0.3 miles, pub 0.2 miles, lake 0.6 miles. Your journey to Rhondda Cynon Taf is guaranteed to be one to remember, with a stay at Meillion. Area
The village of Hirwaun sits at the north end of the Cynon Valley, four miles north-west of the town of Aberedare, South Wales. Within the village there are a selection of independent shops, convenience stores and two pubs, the Prince of Wales and the Cardiff Arms. Hirwaun has a rich industrial history most notably known for the Hirwaun Ironworks which opened in 1765. The village sits on the Heads of Valleys Road and serves as a good base for exploring the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons National Park). The thriving town of Aberdare lies four miles away and boasts a great range of cafes, restaurants, pubs and bars, plus a rich cultural history as well as geological splendour to offer visitors.
