We had a lovely weekend at Rhianwen , the barn far exceeded our expectations.. Spotlessly clean , very well equipped with lovely bedding and fluffy towels. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious with very comfortable beds , powerful showers and light up make up mirrors in bathrooms. It was great to have separate towels provided for hot tub use.
I met the owners by chance on my arrival and they were very friendly and helpful . Farmer Jack drove past us a few times in his Land Rover and always had a wave and a quick word . It was a lovely touch to have milk , welsh cakes and fresh local eggs waiting for us. The under floor heating kept the whole place very cosy and warm though we did also light the log burner ... logs and firelighters were also provided.
The hot tub was very large and easily seated six of us. We also used the games room one evening for table tennis and darts.
There are lots of scenic walks nearby and also on the farm owners land .. full details are provided in a guest handbook.
This is a beautiful barn conversion which I would thoroughly recommend .

Enjoyed a fabulous and relaxing week at Moelfre Hall Barns.. The family have converted a wonderful and well equipped barn to meet everyone's needs. My husband really enjoyed his regular chats with Famer Jack and we would definitely return for this reason only. One suggestion would be to leave bags of logs for the fire either at the side of the barn or in the games room to use and then leave the money at the end of the stay. Overall we have a great stay and would definitely return.

Lovely people and lovely welcome.. The cottage was beautifully presented and went beyond our expectations. The area was stunningly beautiful and the access allowed on the estate was wonderful. The only slight niggle for us, as dog owners, was that it was really suitable for pets as the garden was not secure. We love our dog and knowing that we could not allow him out of the cottage on his own was a constant worry.

Stunning location and sympathetic renovation of an old farm building, that has been transformed to high specification holiday home.. Central for touring round a picturesque and interesting part of Wales, that's if you can leave the 300 acres of land that is at your disposal !
To sum our holiday up, we didn't want to come home.

As a family we just wanted a nice relaxing break and that is what we got.. The barn is just so peaceful and relaxing and the hot tub was just a great way to end the day. The barn is exactly as described and has everything you will need for your stay. The hosts were really welcoming and friendly and we would definitely go again if it's not fully booked. This place will book up really quickly!

We had such a fantastic time at Rhianwen we were sad to leave.. The property has been beautifully renovated and had everything you would want and more. The owners are very kind and thoughful and genuinely care about their guests. We've had some lovely summer walks up the many mountains and up to the top of a waterfall with the whole family and our dogs. The hot tub was a favourite with everyone and even better at night with all the lights off, we enjoyed watching many shooting stars, it was magical. Would love to return if it's not fully booked as I know this will be a very popular cottage!
