Area Kilgetty is a rural settlement located 2.4 miles from Cresswell Quay, one of Pembrokeshire's most scenic villages. Cresswell Quay is best described as a charming hamlet of scattered houses on the edge of the tidal estuary. The historic quay, of course, is the focal point, where boats can still anchor for as long as the tide allows, and you might want to stop by the Cresselly Arms for some light refreshments. It's only a short drive from Tenby and has its own train station, as well as a variety of shops and pubs. Kilgetty is close to a number of attractions, including the coastal resorts of Saundersfoot and Tenby, which offer fantastic beaches, watersports, and boat tours to Caldey Island, which is home to a small group of monks and their monastery. In the area, there's also the award-winning Folly Farm, which is a terrific family day out and allows you to see a functioning farm in action. The largest wooden rollercoaster in Europe, Oakwood Theme Park, is a 10-minute drive away, and the stunning Pembrokeshire coastline and the coastal National Park, a walker's paradise, are all within easy reach.
Region Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
