It was completely magic.. We walked, bird watched, ate out with none of the restrictions that we’re used to. We tried to book two socially distancing tables at The Oystercatcher and were told we could all sit together Wonderful! The sun shone and it was like being in a normal world. Thank goodness we went when we did. Many thanks to all.

Situated in a quiet location in the village but only 3 mins walk to a fantastic beach.. The facilities included in the bungalow are excellent and it is a very modern, comfortable holiday home which is very well maintained. Provides an excellent base to explore the island. There are a good choice of places to eat and drink only a few minutes away. The two slight negatives about the property are the car parking, very easy to drive in but especially difficult to reverse out with a large car. There is however ample room for two cars. The other slight issue was the noise from the jets taking off and landing at RAF Valley. The end of the runway is very close to the village. This tended to be around 8am each morning and late afternoon on some of the days. Larger shops such as Morrisons, Asda and Tesco are only 20mins drive away at Bangor. A very enjoyable and relaxing stay in an excellent property and we hope to return.

We have stayed in many properties in Rhosneigr over the years.. St Winifred's is a lovely tucked away home which is only minutes from the beach and amenities including restaurants & shops. So not far at all to carry all that's needed to set up on the beach for the day, and not far to pop back for anything. It is really well equipped and Lisa the owner couldn't have been more helpful prior to our arrival. There's lots of outside space front and back so there's plenty of room to store water sports equipment. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thank you.

Light and airy property, fantastic central location in the village, two minutes from the beach.. Well equipped and super clean Upon arrival. Having never been to Anglesey before we were delighted with Rhosneigr as a base to tour the whole Island, loads to see and endless walks to entertain.

We arrived at St Winnifreds in wild weather but greeted with a warm bungalow, spotless, spacious and welcoming.. The location is superb, close to restaurants, the beach and the ' Pub'. All 5 - 10 minutes. There were 4 adults,1 child and 1 baby. The puppy kept us on our toes. You can park up and forget the car unless you want to look round the island. If self catering, no need to take any food, just order online and Tesco will deliver. We took our own cot for baby, we preferred to do that. It's just as easy to pack it in. The high chair was OK. It was quiet so no disturbance. All in all, despite the weather we had a great time and recommend a holiday there

St, Winifred’s was ideal for our family and we loved the cottage.. The location was excellent, and the cottage was just what was wanted for a seaside holiday: well equipped, comfortable beds, a good kitchen, storage for our cycles outside, and well decorated without being ‘fussy’. Also two good bathrooms: essential! Please will you thank the owners for their hospitality.

This was a beautiful place to stay.. The location could not have been better - a 2 minute walk to the beach and a 2 minute walk to the shops. The cottage was extremely well equipped and clean. It was also spacious and comfortable. The owner was extremely helpful too. We would definitely return here again!

November 2017
The property was in a great location and lots if very nice touches, such as poo bags for the dog.. The property was very well equipped and nicely laid out. Great room for the kids to play in. The heating was controlled by the owner and as it was November and it was freezing. It was really cold when we arrived and I feel as check in is 3pm the property should be warm ready for check in. The next day we woke and it was again cold. The property could do with a deep clean, lots of dust around the edge of the lounge and the lamps in the bedroom were very dusty. The kitchen cupboards were very dirty and the floor didn't seem like it had been cleaned in the kitchen. We swept it and I don't think it had been cleaned.

The accommodation was perfect, it was close to the beach and brought back lovely memories for my family.. The cottage was very well equipped, comfortable and there was plenty of space for the whole family, we even had see views from the lounge window which was lovely to look out to in the mornings. It was so nice to be able to take our beloved well behaved dog away with us and to go on some wonderful walks in and around the beautiful village of Rhosneigr.

This was our second visit and everything was still well presented and a superb location. We parked the car and did not move it until we left a week later as the walks, facilities and area have everything one needs for your stay. Walked to the Oyster Catcher for lunch which was lovely and dog friendly to boot. The weather was superb for October. Would definitely book again but it was already booked for the week we wanted next year. So the moral is book early.

We booked this property through Sykes Cottages, mainly because it is on one floor as one member of the party is disabled and also the fact that dogs were allowed. The description on the site is perfect and covers everything you need to know about the property and the area. We had been to Rhosneigr many times and this property had the best location by far as regards to getting to the beach and the amenities on the High Street where there are many excellent Restaurants, Cafes and shops. The property is extremely comfortable, spacious and well equipped and being disabled I found it very easy to get around. There is a very spacious patio at the front and rear and I was able to safely store my mobility scooter at the rear of the property. Using my scooter I was easily able to get to the High Street and beach in minutes and my partner was able to visit the lovely beach to give the dogs a good run. We would highly recommend this property, so much so that we have already booked two further weeks for next year. Finally the owners are extremely easy to contact and help out in any way they can and we would advise you to book as soon as possible as 2015 is getting booked up!!

Three generations of our family shared St Winifred's for a week, including 2 year old triplets. The place is thoughtfully equipped, especially in the kitchen, and the living/dining area large and comfortable. The property feels very private, especially in the two outside areas, and yet is just a short walk from the beach. The owner was very helpful and informative prior to our stay. We would most definitely recommend this property and would book it again. Many thanks Lisa!

From the moment we arrived the cottage impressed. Outside was well kept and gave the correct impression of a quality, well thought about house. The inside exceeded our expectations. The cottage is light and airy, so clean even I couldn't fault and believe me I normally can! The standard of the facilities were the best we have encountered from the many cottages we have rented, at no point did I look for something and it not be there. The beds were good quality and so comfortable. The location is wonderful a 2 minute walk to the beach and to local restaurants and shops, ideal when the sun shines which we were lucky to have or if you are willing to brave our weather. Even if it was wet and cold the garden room and the lounge have the facilities to keep everyone happy. Visited church bay where the coffee shop has amazing cakes, we went back for a 2nd time! The white eagle and crown were both dog friendly with good food and friendly service.

Stayed at this lovely property from the 28th March until the 4th April 2014. Very good standard of accommodation, well equipped and very comfortable. Contacted the owner prior to arrival, she was very friendly and very informative about the area. The property is dog friendly and has a secure enclosed garden at the front and back. It’s just a stone’s throw from the beach which provided us with endless walks. Our favourite local pub/restaurant was the Oyster Catcher, a 10 minute stroll accessed by footpath or by the beach. Dogs more than welcome and spoilt rotten with treats. We also had a ride to Rhoscolyn, to The White Eagle, part of the same group, the meals here were fabulous and views from the decking area were stunning. We shall definitely be returning to this property in the future, the area and accommodation certainly ticked all the boxes.

St Winifred's was like home from home for us. It was very clean, comfy and had everything that we needed for a relaxing break. It nicely decorated but you can still relax. The beds were the comfiest we ever slept in. We had some fun family times in the garden room, especially games of darts! It's 2 minutes to the brilliant beach and we had great walks on it. If you want a holiday where you can spend time walking on the beach with a good location to get around the island and the chance to come back and relax, St Winifred's is a great place. We'll certainly be going back.

Another lovely trip to St. Winifreds. A real home from home, comfortable, clean with a great seaside light, bright and cheerful feel. St Winifreds is in a great location for the beach and village amenities. The beach was good for rock pooling and water sports, and there were plenty of things to do within the locality. The surrounding area is very nice and great for exploring. The accommodation was of a very high quality and clean, a pleasure to visit. The games room was also a bonus. The owner was also very amenable.
