We booked number 3 - I believe all 3 cottages are the same & they are bookable individually or as a group booking, also a farmhouse is available. 2 bedrooms both ensuite - a double bedroom and 2 singles beds in the second bedroom. Plenty of wardrobe space etc - 1 ensuite has a bath, the other a shower so best of both worlds. Really well equipped units with 2 ensuite bedrooms which is perfect for families. There's a full size fridge, washing machine, a playpark and BBQ with seating outside, access to a decking area and everything you could need. We had a tiny issue with a flush not working and Mr Parry sorted it the same day. Really warm and cosy - best heating I've ever had anywhere, even at home. Great location to explore both Anglesey and North Wales as it's not too far into Anglesey. I cannot recommend this enough.

We stayed at No 2 week commencing 9th Oct. We loved every minute of our stay, so thank you Mr and Mrs Parry. The accommodation was lovely, spotlessly clean with two bedrooms both with en suites. It is very quiet and convenient to visit all parts of Anglesey within about 25/30 miles. I could not praise this place more. The added bonus was a brilliant Chinese take away a couple of miles up the road. We had our dog with us and there was plenty of room in the garden for her.

Dogs are not allowed in the garden at this property nor was it accessible from the back door.. We had requested a secure garden because of the dogs so not ideal. Wouldn’t recommend this property for dog owners.

The accommodation was superb.. The views are amazing. We watched a horse play with her foal in the field everyday. The weather could have been better but Newburgh beach and Benllech bay did not disappoint. The Liverpool Arms in Beaumaris had just reopened and the food and Covid precautions were outstanding. We spent week with my sister and brother in law and it proved to be a lovely antidote to lockdown.

Have been to these lovely cottages before so knew how nice they were.. However this time we arranged to go with friends as we knew there were 2 bathrooms. However as there is no shower in the ensuite of the twin bedroom it meant we had to share the shower in the enquire off the main bedroom which was a tad awkward getting ready in the morning.... Only a small detail otherwise it worked really well and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will book again in the future I am sure.

Over the years I have stayed in cottages with various firms and in a variety of different places Black Horse Cottage is the best by far I have stayed in It was spotlessly clean and we were made welcome by the family who own the property All the facilities were in excellent condition (take my word I have stayed in places where they weren't but not with Sykes) It was in a quiet location but not far from amenities I would highly recommend this property to any future visitors to Anglesey

A lovely place to stay.. Very friendly owner who was really helpful even when I (temporarily) lost my door key. Quite secluded but if you are travelling without a car (like us) , then it is close to a bus stop to Bangor direct one way and Benllech the other. No WIFI, but good phone signal including 4G.

Really enjoyed our 3 days in Black Horse Cottages.. The weather was excellent which always helps. But the cottage was very nice. It was surrounded with fields and horses. The veranda always had the sun in the afternoon. The cottage had all facilities that you would need. And it is in a great location. It is 5-10 minutes drive from Red Wharf Bay. And within easy driving distance of all beaches in Anglesey (we went to 5-6 beaches in total) as well as South Stack and Beaumaris.

We had a brilliant stay here! The location is wonderful, especially for children. The play area is fab, our children were playing out all the time they loved it. The area is secluded so safe for the children no worrying about traffic. The cottage is perfect. The beds are so comfy! Everything that is needed is there, one niggle...the fridge is on the small side. The cottage is clean and well furnished with fab views and we saw lots of wildlife, including a bird of prey! We enjoyed it so much that we are booking for next year!!

We stayed here in November 2016, we booked this specific cottages as it was pet friendly and we took our dog. We stopped in no 1 with 2 bedrooms, loads of room for everything, It's situated for everything, as we did go walking, went to the beach at Rhosneigr which took about 20 mins. The wildlife is fab even around the cottage. The lady who owned them was very friendly and helpful. Will be going back again.

A well equipped and comfortable cottage in a peaceful spot, yet with easy access to all areas of Anglesey. It was lovely to have the patio area to sit in the evening. It was a bonus to be able to park right outside the cottage.

3 cottages in a row, we had number 3 ,large living room /kitchen double bedroom with en suite shower room, twin room with en suite bathroom, loads of parking space, patio door to decking area, very large garden area to the rear with swings, slide and trampoline. The owners came to show us round and told us if we needed anything to go to the house at the end of the cottages as they are there, they were very helpful. We was both ill and the weather was awful, but we loved the place. I will recommend the cottages to everyone. You could rent all the cottages, if a group of people was going, or like us we just had the one cottage, which is for up to 4 people. Another family came in on the Wednesday, but we never herd them at all. Nice and peaceful place

This cottage and its location gave us the ideal setting for some much needed family time. We explored the island and its beautiful beaches, played with our girls and just enjoyed each others company. We do holiday abroad every year but I can honestly say that this holiday will be marked in our hearts as the best yet! Just proving that you don't need fancy expensive hotels and endless hours of applying sun tan lotion to have a good time, this week, the cottage, the island and all it has to offer, can be summed up by my 7 year old, this place is just awesome mummy, just awesome!

We stayed at Black Horse Cottages last summer and liked it so much we decided to visit again. This time my daughter and son in law came with my friend and I, hence the reason we had 2 cottages booked. We like it that much that we intend to go again.

Just got back from a weeks holiday in this sweet little cottage, We enjoyed out stay immensely and the cottage supported our needs well as one of our party has a disability needs to walk with a stick. The whole place was as clean as a pin and the furnishings were comfortable, what more could you ask for? I consider this property to be good value for money!
