The cliffs that line the coast lie relatively low and offer spectacular views of the locality. While Trearddur Bay has a number of shops and pubs, further amenities can be found in nearby Holyhead, including the ferry to Dublin.

The owners, Linda and Steve were very helpful, meeting us and showing us around the property explaining how things worked and the Covid 19 Prevention measures both for us and subsequent Guests.. WiFi was excellent, easy to set up and powerful. View from the balcony was terrific. Facilities were superb and comfortable. In short a really good, professional and friendly greeting at a wonderful house with a fabulous location. Worth every penny.

This house is absolutely brilliant. Every single amenity that you could wish for. Spotlessly clean with the owners highly Covid aware. The sauna and spa pool are wonderful, and again very clean. The area is magnificent with wonderful bays and scenery and sunsets to die for! The views from the balcony are beautiful. Absolutely nothing to fault! We have already booked for next year!

This house was fantastic for us we loved staying here.. The views were spectacular, I could just sit and stare out for ages, with the view every day looking different. We loved the log fire in the middle of the room and used that every day. We also loved the basement spa, especially after a day walking. The house was very clean and made us feel very covid safe. Everything we needed was there. I'm just sad it's booked up and we can't come back in October!

Fantastic accomodation in great location, the hosts were brilliant and explained everything well and excellent precautions taken against covid.. We couldnt have stayed in better accommodation I dont think. The sauna and jacuzzi were brilliant. The beach was just as close as it could be, lots of space for the family and everything we needed was in the accommodation they thought of everything. Pub that does food within a couple.of mins walk and simply fantastic scenery and walks right from rhe house.

We received a lovely warm welcome from the property owner and thoughtful welcome goodies, including fresh flowers.. The position of the house was fantastic with great views, a good base to take day trips from and 'home from home' enough to be perfectly happy staying local and enjoying the area.

House was amazing.. Facilities were fabulous. Location just perfect. Even in October we had plenty to keep us and our three children busy and they absolutely loved the hot tub. The little extras the owner placed in house were very much appreciated. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend. We didn’t want to come home x

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday at Porth House.. The house itself is amazing, deceivingly spacious inside with everything you may need for an enjoyable holiday. The Hot tub and Sauna are a real luxury, in line with the fixtures and furnishings throughout the property. Everything is top quality throughout - a real credit to the owners who are themselves a very friendly, warm, and helpful couple. We had a lovely welcome pack waiting for us when we arrived, containing some treats and everything we needed to get us started which was another nice touch. The photos really don't do this place any justice at all. The views from the front of the house are beautiful at all times of the day, from sunrise to sunset. The area itself has 3 beaches and a pub within a 5 minute walk, and more good quality restaurants just a 10 minute walk away. There are numerous walks in the area and lots of information to help find those perfect days out inside the house. Book now, you will not be disappointed!!

The standard of the accommodation is exceptional.. This is our second time visiting Porth House and once again it did not disappoint. We noticed improvements from our last visit including a topper on the master bed. We were super comfy! When the owner called me regarding the key handover arrangements (which I thought was wonderful service) I enquired as to the tog of duvet on the single bed my 3 year old would use. We were very surprised when we arrive and found she'did been out and bought a1 together just for us. There are so many extra little touches included in this property from hand soap to fresh flowers. The owners have really thought of every little detail to make your stay amazing. The location of the house is outstanding. The view is stunning and it's such a safe cove for children to play on. We'd happily book again!

April 2017
Our first visit to Anglesey, we spent a week in Porth House and had the most wonderful holiday. The weather was very kind during our stay so we were able to make the most of the superb location. Loads of space in the three storey house, plenty of off road parking to the rear of the property. The location is stunning, views over the pretty sheltered cove of Porth Diana and being on the coastal path allows easy access on foot to Trearddur Bay itself with its beautiful golden sandy beach and plenty of places to eat and drink. We were lucky enough to meet Sandra the owner when we arrived (and again with Steve later in the week). Heather the caretaker showed us around the house. We had the warmest of welcomes and Sandra gave us lots of valuable information about places to visit and good restaurants etc. Sandra, Steve and their team clearly take pride in providing a home from home where you can totally relax in comfort. Spotlessly clean throughout (that's no mean feat when the house is right next to the beach!). All the little details are taken care of, we didn't need to take any kitchen supplies, they were all provided, plus pretty boxes of tissues, hand soaps, all towels, face flannels but the best thing was the wonderful welcome gifts of fresh flowers, locally baked cake, chocolates, wine, milk - all very much appreciated, thank you. Very easy driving around the Anglesey area gives easy access to lots of beautiful scenery. The Snowdon mountain range is visible to the rear of the property on a clear day. An unexpectedly sunny day provided the most breathtaking views of the mountain range during a drive over to Llanberis. A visit to the Halen Môn Anglesey Sea Salt Company is a must for the factory tour and shop, I had no idea salt could taste so good! RSPB South Stack near Trearddur Bay is incredibly beautiful and a must for nature lovers of all ages with a great café and gift shop. We visited three times! Overall the quality of this holiday home is excellent. You won't be disappointed and with a spa in the basement (6 person jacuzzi and sauna with double shower area to rinse off etc) - total luxury! Many thanks Sandra, Steve and team, Porth House is a credit to you.

We have just arrived back from a week at Porth House In Treardur Bay, to say we have loved it is a understatement!! The house is beautiful, everything we needed was there, the welcome pack was lovely and the views just spectacular!!!! We are so relaxed, and I had the most relaxed birthday I have ever had. The spa pool was nice after a days exploring and there is so much to explore in the area and surroundings. We have just booked again for next year the week after my birthday this time!!!

We've just returned from a relaxing week at Porth House. I loved the quiet location and the fantastic views from the balcony. The house is clean and well equipped and the spa pool and sauna are great to come back to after a day out walking. The small beach over the road was perfect for a pleasant stroll in the evening. There was a folder with menus from recommended restaurants in the area which we found useful, and major supermarkets are a short drive away in Holyhead.

We had a week's stay in September at the lovely Porth House. When we arrived the house was warm and toasty and we had a lovely welcome pack waiting for us. The house is located in a stunning spot, with the sea a stone's throw away. Most evenings it was mild enough to have the balcony door open to enjoy the sound of the sea from the lounge. We managed to have a log fire the night before we left, the rest of the week was too warm for one. It was so homely! I have to be honest the jacuzzi and sauna really helped us decide to stay at Porth House and we were not disappointed! The jacuzzi is HUGE! So relaxing to spend time in there after a day exploring the stunning surrounding area in a beautiful part of Wales. The owners of this beautiful house have really thought of everything. If you like cooking you will find a very well equipped kitchen. The attention to detail is impressive from a golf umbrella in case it rains to a picnic basket if you want to dine al fresco! It is tastefully decorated and a home from home (with a better view!). We have already recommended the Porth House to a friend we were that impressed. This was our first visit but not our last. Thank you Sandra for a great week in your gorgeous house.

Porth House exceeded my expectations and provided a restful week, the views from the upper level are beautiful. The house is well equipped, exceptionally clean and full of maps and literature on the island and north Wales. The owner also contacted us during our stay to ensure there were no problems and suggestions of places to visit as well as good eating places. Well worth a visit.

Writing this review from the lounge of porth house looking out at the mesmerising sea view and sunset over the bay, we wish we lived here. Daughter and grandchildren stayed over at weekend and now we have the place to ourselves. All have enjoyed the spacious jacuzzi with room for the children to float around in. ( I found the steep step between the seat and floor of the pool difficult due to my arthritic knee but it was worth it for the hydrotherapy.) The sauna is lovely and the adjoining walk in double shower room is huge. The master bedroom is large with a bay view and lovely ensuite shower room. All mod cons including wifi complete this perfect holiday home from home. The photos say it all.

March 2014
Stayed at this cottage over the Christmas break, however the break was ruined due to power cuts. Did make the owner aware of a few suggestions to improve stay should a power cut occur again as power failures can happen for a number of reasons not just bad weather which no one can predict. Should have been emergency lighting in the basement as it was very dangerous down there, which I was with two young children had to feel our way out. So back up lighting or at the very least torches on each level of the house and a camping stove to at least boil a kettle. The care taker was not there on arrival and we feel to get the best out the house a set of instructions should be available if you aren't going be greeted when arriving. Also just to make people aware that we booked though skye cottages and the after care has been appalling , not to say the advertising of this property is not correct it states a hot tub, it is actually a plunge pool so therefore not hot as we were hoping for. The house is in a fantastic location however and apart from lack of emergency supplies is very well equipped. The views from the lounge are spectacular, and we were considering the larger next door premises for family get together but after the lack of dealing with our issues raised in January and still waiting a reply in march. Will look elsewhere , such a shame people don't take customers complaints into consideration any more.

What a great holiday my family and I have just enjoyed at 'Porth House' in Trearddur Bay in Anglesey. Right opposite a clean safe beach with fun to be had for our four year old and great fishing for us both. The accommodation itself was fantastic, like a ski chalet in its fixtures and fittings but with absolutely every item of crockery and cook-wear you could require for catering for a family! The Jacuzzi (massive!) and sauna were such a luxurious addition but made the week in this beautiful house feel oh so special. We enjoyed glorious sunsets, and the best accommodation in a fabulous location.

Spent a brilliant week here. Everything in this let was fabulous. Lovely open plan living, dining and kitchen are with superb view of the beach. Master bedroom was huge and the other 2 bedrooms a good size. Utility room very useful as the weather was not very good whilst we were there. Jacuzzi and Sauna were well used!! Would DEFINATELY recommend this beautiful house to anyone for a holiday in this lovely part of the world.
