This quirky cottage is set in the pretty grounds of the owners home though privacy is assured and is full of period charm, exposed beams, low ceilings, bespoke doorways and creature comforts. Enter through the back door into the creatively designed kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge with Ice/Freezer box and microwave with plenty of space to rustle up a meal. The shower room and WC are connected to the kitchen on the ground floor. Walk through the inviting lounge with comfortable chairs, feature fireplace with wood burner and Smart TV and then round to the lovely dining room with interesting artwork and thoughtful little extras for your stay. From every window you can enjoy rural views in this idyllic location. Enjoy a book and plan your activities with the local guides or listen to the radio. Mind your step as you go up the unique steep and twisting staircase to the first floor where you will find the fabulous king size bedroom with an adjoining twin bedroom (can only be accessed through the master bedroom) with two single beds and lovely views to wake up to. This peaceful little cottage offers such a lovely home from home experience and is full of pleasant surprises. The private garden has established borders, lawn and patio where you ll find seating perfect for summer evenings after you ve spent the day exploring the area. Outside you will also find the useful old bread shed where the washing machine, tumble dryer and additional storage can be found. There s parking for two cars and bike storage available. Please note the detached cottage is accessed down a private lane that is not ideal for sports cars.
