A bustling market town sitting on the fringes of Dartmoor National Park, Okehamption makes a pleasant place to base a countryside escape to Devon. It offers a good selection of shops and eateries, as well as an imposing medieval castle, the Museum of Dartmoor Life and its restored train station all being well-worth a visit. Explore the Roadford Reservoir for a good selection of watersporting opportunities, or take a trip into the National Park to experience stunning scenery and a plethora of nature.

Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
