Inside, there are warm wood floors, window shutters, modern artworks and an array of plants creating a stylish interior. Two sets of French doors allow light to flood in, and there's plenty of entertaining space in the large open plan living area for your family or friends.

When you're ready to explore, perhaps start by browsing the chic boutiques in this neighbourhood. Then stop off for lunch at one of Chiado's fine-dining restaurants. Afterwards, a two-minute stroll will take you to Praça Luís de Camões with its statues of Portuguese literary icons, while the National Theatre of São Carlos is five minutes on foot. The Elevador De Santa Justa, on the other hand, is a ten-minute saunter, or head to the iconic Lisbon Cathedral, under a twenty-minute walk away.

*Guests five and six would be on a sofa bed in the living room – if you're looking for a home with ample space for socialising, we'd recommend this home for two guests only.
*The dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly space.
*There are a couple of supermarkets within 200 metres, while Ribeira Market is a five-minute walk.
*Guests are kindly asked to respect the quiet hours here, which are between 10pm and 8am.
*Lisbon Airport is twenty-three minutes in the car.
*This home lacks basic cleaning essentials, so you might want to bring your own. For longer stays, you will have to buy additional laundry detergent.
