Luxe Lodge, is an 1840's hunting lodge which has been lovingly restored and while the phrase can be overused, this indeed can be described as a 'home-from-home' with elegant and comfortable luxury with an upscale five-star feel.“You are guaranteed a good night's sleep here", promises the owner, who has opted for light neutrals, luxurious fabrics and soft lamplight, resulting in successfully-designed and very relaxing reception rooms.

Carefully chosen paintings add interest, and there are countryside views out to the private gardens set in one acre with magnificent trees as far as the eye can see. The high-spec kitchen is perfect for entertaining, and the dining area is flooded with natural light. Formerly a Presbyterian rectory, the garden with a river running through it offers complete privacy “apart from the occasional wild goat or deer, a visiting badger or the sound of an owl."

There is no shortage of culinary options close to Lue Lodge. However - nearby Letterfrack, only 1km away, is a hidden gem when it comes to restaurants. The nearby Rossleague Manor and Letterfrack lodge are also highly recommended.

Clifden, with its pubs, restaurants and charming shops, is only 20 minutes away, and Luxe Lodge is only 3kms from Kylemore Abbey. Renvyle Beach and Lettergesh Beach are also within 10km, and for the more adventurous, scuba diving West is only 20 minutes away.
