Sure, at full occupancy, two people will sleep on the sofa bed in the games room, but it’s a small price to pay for this home’s enviable location. Inside, cosy up by the fire or stay entertained for hours in the games room. Outdoors, the hot tub, fire pit and bear sightings are sure to be a hit with all. And if you can tear yourself away from this mountain retreat, downtown Gatlinburg is a mere 3.5 miles away.

Home truths:
*At full occupancy, two guests will be sleeping on the sofa bed in the games room.
*You'll have access to the resort pool here, open between June and August. It's shared with neighbouring homes.
*There is a very good chance you will see bears near the cabin, so care must be taken. Don't feed the bears or leave food in your car – bears can damage vehicles trying to get to food.
*The bedroom curtains here don't fully block out the sunlight. If you're hoping to enjoy a lie-in, you might want to pack an eye mask.
*Access is via a mountain road. On-site parking is available for three cars here.
