Nestled into the banks of the Columbia River, this home is beautifully curated and sits in a striking landscape. Inside, wood-panelled vaulted ceilings create drama, while the fireplace brings out a cosier side and ties the whole room together.
Although we wouldn’t blame you for never wanting to leave this home, it’s probably a good idea you make yourself familiar with the area. Set on five acres of land – shared only with one other house – you’ll have plenty of space outside for lawn games, alfresco dining and lounging in the sun. At night, we recommend treating yourself to s’mores around the fire pit and stargazing – it’s a sight you won’t soon forget.
While you get to enjoy plenty of privacy here, you’re just a short walk from local attractions – you're in a prime hiking destination here after all. Discover the Bridge of Gods trailhead (a thirteen-minute walk away) and Dry Creek Falls (a seven-minute drive away) – both are excellent hikes and easily reachable from this home. Come wintertime, set off on day trips to the ski slopes of Mount Hood Meadows, a convenient hour's drive away.
