Dating back to the eighteenth century, it’s safe to say that The Whaler’s Cottage is steeped in history. It has a wonderful garden with lots of room for relaxing, and the interiors are stunning. It’s easy to see that Tom and Max have an eye for design. Light-filled, minimalist, and incredibly elegant, it’s the kind of place you look forward to coming home after perusing Sag Harbor or walking by the beach. Speaking of sandy stretches, you’re close to the village centre, giving you easy access to several beaches, along with lots of wonderful restaurants, shops, and bars.
Home truths: *There was no home manual when we visited
*The layout is a bit strange – the fridge is found inside the sunroom which also doubles as bedroom three
* The bed in the second bedroom is a small double
