Peacefully secluded amongst the Catskills forests of New York state, yet less than a ten-minute drive from skiing and snowboarding hotspots and the dining scene of Hunter and Windham, the location of this cabin is bang-on. Thoughtfully designed to be a home for all seasons, winter is for soaking up the nature views from beside the wood burner. Come summer, the action shifts outside to the sprawling woodland garden, complete with a grill and firepit for stargazing and storytelling. Do note, the second bedroom is on a loft level overlooking the main living space. While it’s not the most private setup, the sense of space it brings more than makes up for it.

*The stairs to access the loft bedroom may be unsuitable for guests with restricted mobility. The outside areas are rocky in parts, so you’ll need to mind your step.
*Depending on the time of year and foliage, a south-facing neighbouring home may be partially visible. You might see or hear equipment such as tractors being used from time to time.
*The home is surrounded by nature, so you may see bugs or wildlife during your stay.
*The Catskills region has an active bear population. Never leave food outdoors or the trash shed unlocked to avoid attracting them.
*The seasonal wood-burning stove cannot be used when outdoor temperatures exceed 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
