Fantastic property in a fabulous location. The view of Moel Siabod, together with other Snowdonia mountains, especially at sunset, has to be seen to be believed. Totally astonishing. Sat outside having tea alfresco style on more than one night. Property clean, tidy, spacious and comfortable, especially the Emma mattress. Lovely owners Mr and Mrs Jones, always only a phone call away if needed. (Lovely scones too). This was our second visit and will definitely be back for more of the same. Close to Betws-y-coed, so great base for exploring North Wales, but so tranquil and relaxing. Book this and you will not be disappointed. We love it.

Both Woodpecker Cottage in Helston, Cornwall, and Ty Isaf Penrhyddion cottage in Betws y Coed in North Wales were excellent.. The cottages were exactly what we wanted, the owners were outstanding in meeting all of our needs, and both cottages were ideally located for all the outdoors activities we were planning. The two cottages, in quite different parts of the UK, were well maintained and provided all of our needs. We will certainly recommend both of the cottages to our friends in Texas.

This barn conversion was in a great location, near to all the places & activities we wanted to do.. The views from the front door were beautiful & the cottage itself was very clean, to a high specification and had those extra touches which made our stay even more enjoyable. Thanks

The cottage was extremely well equipped and the owner greeted us just after arrival.. You felt that she would be there if you needed her but that she wasn’t constantly looking over your shoulder, a perfect compromise. The cottage was well situated in the National Park where so many attractions were within easy reach. There is no doubt that the excellent weather made the holiday but felt that had it have been less so we would still have had a good holiday.

If you’re a family of explorers and adventurers, then this place is in the perfect location! The town is packed with waterfalls, and beautiful mountain views. Zip world is only 20mins drive and the train to Snowdon is only a 30min drive away. The cottage itself is well equipped and comfortable, and although it’s on a working farm, it’s not invasive. The owners are welcoming and the little extras were very well appreciated. Tea, coffee and milk, as well as fresh flowers in the living area and Easter eggs for the kids! We had an absolutely wonderful time and the children are already talking about coming back next year! Thank you

The views from this cottage are breathtaking. The decor is beautiful and it has everything you could ask for, in fact it's a real home from home. The owners are lovely and welcoming but not intrusive. The rooms are spacious and everything is clean and very well maintained. There is no shortage of crockery and utensils and everything is of good quality, which is not always the case in a holiday cottage. While it gives the impression of being miles from anywhere, in fact it's close to the lovely village of Betws y Coed. The only sounds are from the birds or sheep in the surrounding fields which is very relaxing in the early evening. Amazing!

If it's Wales your after start here. The views were amazing rolling hills, sheep dotted about even coming to say hello over the fencing. Cattle, robins absolutely picturesque walks on your doorstep, short drive away to many walks and activities. Gem of a cottage, plenty of hot water, everything in the property you could possibly need. Very comfortable and cosy. A very big thank you to the owner for the welcoming scones, milk and tea bags after a long journey and a welcome not long after arriving was warming. Highly recommend everything about being there.

This beautiful very comfortable cottage is a real retreat but also central to the whole of Snowdonia. The owner is so welcoming with milk in fridge, tea, coffee, sugar, scones and fresh flowers for our arrival. Despite a busy life on the farm she took the trouble to call a couple of times to check all was well with everything which was greatly appreciated. I would like her to be thanked and congratulated on our behalf.

We had a wonderful holiday in this barn conversion. It is truly fabulous! Spotlessly clean and everything you need is available. The owners are very kind and caring. There was a lovely welcome tray on arrival and fresh flowers in the lounge. The decor is first rate! Views from the property are breathtaking. It is an ideal base for visiting many places of interest in North Wales. We were very lucky that we saw newborn lambs enter the world on the farm and had lots of super chats with the owners about lambing. All the equipment was in good working order. We will definitely be booking this barn conversion again for later in the year. Thank you to Mr & Mrs Jones for making us so welcome. We appreciate your kindness.

From the moment we arrived it was perfect, from the fresh home made cake to the milk in the fridge. Just simple touches but made all the difference. The setting is stunning, the accomodation is faultless clean & well furnished. Any problems (there weren't any) the owner was a phone call away. The only downside for some, maybe how far it is of the beaten track but for us was a part of the appeal. We just can't wait to go back. It is all on one level so easy access for folk with disabilities.

This cottage is a real gem. Situated in a very rural location but close to Betws-y-coed. It has everything you could need for a quiet relaxing holiday. The view from the cottage is breathtaking and needs to be seen to be believed. It has everything you could possibly need whether your aim is to walk, relax or as a base for sight seeing. The owner is very pleasant & left a lovely cake and some milk for our arrival. Even the dubious weather did not dampen our enthusiasm (but it was early May & this year has been a bit of a washout all round) Would recommend this cottage without hesitation.

What an absolutely fantastic place. We stayed in November so not a typical time of year maybe for a cottage holiday in Wales but it was absolutely fantastic. We couldn't ask for more. The cottage has been converted beautifully with all the amenities that we wanted. There was even a delicious home made sponge for us when we arrived. On our first morning it was a crisp icy morning and the owner not only made a point of warning us that the slope could be slippery but she also came out and gritted it to make sure we were ok. The location itself if stunning. Not too far from greater civilisation but also far enough away that it was peaceful and relaxing. The view across the valley were also stunning. Especially on an icy winters morning in November. Loved it here Fantastic!

Lovely accommodation which has been recently converted so everything is very modern and up to date. The owner was very pleasant and had left a tray of goodies for us upon arrival (welsh cakes, biscuits, milk, squash for the kids) which was really appreciated. There were also fresh flowers in the lounge. No problems at all with anything during the stay. The view from the front door/garden is stunning! On the last evening the owner came round to ask if everything had been okay and gave us three bars of chocolate for our boys to enjoy on the journey home. Really great hospitality!

Everything about 'Ty Isaf Penrhyddion' is perfect. The attention to detail was very good and the owners were very friendly and welcomimg. The area is very central to many places and you can go on a different walk everyday from the cottage. To wake up to the magnificent views was added bonus too.
