The Snug was perfect! From the moment we parked right outside and entered into the warm cottage we relaxed!! The owners have thought of everything and have such good taste. The bathroom was luxury, the bed was as comfy as ours at home, the kitchen as clean as if it had been newly fitted, the sitting room with the log burner and record player, sheer heaven! On arrival we sat down with a cuppa, the gorgeous cakes provided, listened to Simon and Garfunckel and couldn't believe that we had found such a haven. We will come back ....just hoping we can get booked in!!

The Snug is absolutely gorgeous and a perfect place to stay to explore the Yorkshire Dales.. It is super comfy and all the little touches left by the host make it really special. We have never stayed somewhere as clean - it was positivly sparkling when we walked in the door. No negative feedback to give - all in all a great place to stay!

Very clean comfortable accommodation.. The owners have put a lot of thought into the comfort of their guests leaving treats for canine visitors and fresh baked scones and chilled Cava. Connonley is a nice peaceful village with lovely views, two pubs, a shop and Chinese takeaway. The Metro was a bonus.

We have booked many cottages with Sykes and have always found them to be excellent but The Snug was even better than that - truly fantastic- the accommodation all the extra care and attention to detail, even special treats for the dog were really appreciated.. The village amenities, location - everything was perfect. We never stay in the same cottage twice but this will be the exception and we hope to return again and again.
