Wonderful welcome from friendly owner, great chat about local area. Accommodation is great holiday stay, all what you need in well presented place, kitchen and utensils. Even a welcome pint of milk, very thoughtful. Surrounding area is peaceful, wonderful welsh science, lots to do nearby ( and not so nearby if fancy take you) Will book again and really recommend pheasant one to stay. Thanks.

The booking procedure was second to none.. The property booking was held for a short time while we made up our minds and Sykes staff phoned us back exactly as promised. This is a beautiful part of the country and the cottage has great views. Good area for 'foodies', walkers and photographers. We were extremely comfortable and you can be sure of a very warm welcome from the owners who live on the site.

This is a great little cottage and lovely location for exploring south wales, the cottage has everything you need but I have bad circulation in my hands and feet and did find the floor very cold even with 2 pairs of woolly socks on so a rug would be nice in there.. ..

Gorgeous cottage in idyllic setting, the views from the front stable door are stunning.. A peaceful place to relax and unwind, yet a great village with pub, post office, shop etc only a short 2 mile drive away. The cottage is bijou and pretty, with every essential provided, everything was lovely and tastefully selected, no cheap tat here, the finishings were high end. The hosts are warm and welcoming, really friendly and helpful and on hand should you need anything, they are however, unobtrusive and respecting of your privacy too. I highly recommend this little slice of heaven, and will certainly return.

This is an excellent property, new to the holiday let market since June 2018.. The property is very well finished throughout with an excellent kitchen area and a superb walk-in shower in the bathroom. Its location is excellent for walking or cycling with the Brecon Beacons just 12 miles away, and excellent selection of restaurants, pubs and hotels nearby in Raglan and Usk. The owner is passionate about providing a top quality service and is keen to learn from guests how the facility can be further improved. The only thing we could think of was providing a cafetiere as we like good coffee. One general observation, broadband service in rural areas can be very intermittent, so if that service is important to you it would be worth checking it is operational before you go.
