The Olde House is a lovely semi-detached cottage situated in the village of Upton Bishop just three miles from Ross-on-Wye in Herefordshire. The cottage can sleep six people in one double bedroom and one second floor twin, together with a family bathroom. Also in the cottage is a kitchen with dining room and sitting room with open fire together with snug with double sofa bed. Outside is off road parking for three cars and a private enclosed garden with furniture. The Olde House is a lovely base from which to enjoy the many walks, cycle routes and beautiful countryside ind this part of the country.

Over three floors. Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x second floor twin. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Ground floor basin and WC. Kitchen. Dining room. Sitting room with open fire. Snug with new sofa bed.

The thriving village of Upton Bishop lies in beautiful Herefordshire countryside close to the border with Gloucestershire and has an excellent village pub, craft centre and is just 3 miles from the pretty riverside town of Ross-on-Wye. Upton Bishop offers many lovely walks and cycle routes with the Herefordshire Trail and Wye Valley Walk both close by.

Herefordshire offers visitors the chance to journey through lush green countryside, enjoying splendid black-and-white timbered villages, a magnificent cathedral city, a fairytale Georgian castle at Eastnor or books galore in famous Hay-on-Wye.

Note: Dogs are not allowed upstairs in this property. Please note: due to the age of the property, the stairs are steep, so please take care. May not be suitable for persons with limited mobility. Nice well equipped cottage with character.. The dog walking area nearby was ideal.Beautiful enclosed garden but unfortunately the weather prevented us from enjoying it fully. There were BBQ facilities and a lovely outdoor seating area, maybe we'll be luckier with the weather another year

We so enjoyed the holiday, the house and large garden with lots of flowers and the rural location (especially at harvest time) and local wildlife ( owls, red kite, buzzard, etc).. Great views of rolling landscape and Malvern hills. Good base for visting lots of places ( Forest of Dean and the Wye valley, Malvern hills, Black Mountains). Very dog friendly.

We went over Christmas period.. The cottage is very well equipped , large bedrooms and bathroom. pleasant lounge and dining area. The garden in summer would be beautiful with far reaching views over Malvern hills. the view from bedroom was superb . The owners were very pleasant and when we had two very minor problems they were sorted out very quickly. It was an excellent for what our family required over the Christmas period. The area around Ross is excellent, eating pubs that supply good basic food at good prices try the Man of Ross, King Charles 2nd, Royal Hotel good bar with excellent seating area outside with far reaching views over the river Why.

Our holiday was great including our Cottage with everything we needed.. The garden was fantastic for our 2 dogs to play in-being enclosed is a main deal with dogs of course!.The location was just what we wanted with no long distance trips to the locations we visited.

Very dog friendly with a lovely big secure garden.. We enjoyed the quiet area. The cottage was comfortable and spacious, the owners helpful. A very relaxing break.

The cottage was very clean and well maintained.. It was clear that the owners took a pride in their cottage and made guests very welcome. The garden was well cared for and the lawn was recently cut. The owners should be complimented on their cottage and how well they look after it. We would highly recommend this cottage.
