A beautiful setting for a cosy little studio.. We had a lovely time, arrived with milk in the fridge, tea and coffee which helped as we got there quite late! Very descriptive instructions to get there because it's actually right next to their house. Comfy bed and furniture and very warm. Thank you for having us, really enjoyed it!

I had a very relaxing and restful Christmas break at the Loft and thoroughly enjoyed my second Christmas there.. The owners were on hand if you needed them for anything, very friendly, helpful and welcoming. It was beautifully and tastefully decorated for Christmas and had everything you could possibly need. The Loft truly is a quiet and peaceful retreat surrounded by spectacular scenery. I've loved my time there and would highly recommend staying at this stunning property.

We are familiar with bradwell village and was greatly disappointed at the access lane congested with neighbours parked cars, wheelie bins kept out on tight steep lanes, not good for guests who do not like poor vision on bends ! . The property is equipped but not special the shower is very very poor. The night of our arrival we were kept awake until 3.30am when we contacted the owner , due to a garage door being left open and the wind was slamming it shut. We received no apology for this in fact we never saw the owner during our stay. It would be help to guests to let them know at the same time of key code, that the co-op store in village is under big refurbishment. Also within the accommodation grounds there was serious pot holes ,this property is not ideal for guests who care for their vehicles.

Our second visit, Gill and her family are very friendly and helpful, they are on hand if needed but the accommodation is totally separate from there house.. The accommodation is very comfortable and clean, we love the balcony and were able to sit out and enjoy the company of Norman the horse. It is easy to walk into the village for the pubs and fish and chip shop and the local co-op, all the people are friendly, we will be returning again next year.

A very easy to manage cottage,.. Cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Very well equipped. Set in beautiful surroundings. Peaceful, but within easy walking distance of local shops etc., including a well-stocked Co-op, Village shop and a bakery. Many excellent walks in the area, from short (3/4 miles) to long distance (10/15 miles) and some good climbs (Win Hill, Lose Hill, Mam Tor, Abne Moor, etc). Cottage has an excellent shower and a south facing balcony to relax on in the sun, whilst watching the horses, sheep and lambs in the adjacent fields.

Excellent holiday let equipped to a very high standard and in a really pleasant farm location.. Bradwell has some pretty walks, is conveniently located to many of the more "tourist" destinations and has several pubs in the town that serve good beer and food.

Had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.. Lovely surroundings and comfortable and well equipped apartment.Pleasantly surprised to find a pint of milk in fridge on arrival ( a little thing but very welcome nonetheless!) Slight issue with the key box code as l could not contact the owner prior to my arrival, fortunately l happened to come across a relative who helped me but, had she not been around l would have been stuck. Otherwise, had a lovely stay and would certainly stay there again....

Enjoyed a lovely cozy week at The Loft.. A perfect base for exploring the key Peak District hills being so close to the Hope Valley. The cottage was peaceful and quiet and just what I needed for a relaxing week. It would be perfect for couples. There’s a lovely veranda, comfortable furniture and a well equipped clean kitchen. The shower room was ideal and the heating worked very quickly. The property was well maintained and very clean. I’m looking forward to coming back next year!

The loft is really cosy & comfortable.. Everything has been done to a very high standard & we looked forward to returning to the loft after a day out. The decor is lovely, the colour scheme is very tasteful, the towels are huge & fluffy, the crockery is really pretty, everything has been well thought out. It is a relatively small space but has been perfectly planned with a delightful kitchen/diner area & excellent wet room. We are hoping to visit another of the properties in the future.

My second visit to The Loft.. They say you shouldn't go back, but I'm very glad that I did: a clean, comfortable accommodation, that manages to be both compact and spacious, with great views. Bradwell is a lovely village with decent facilities (including three very good pubs) and friendly people - and perfectly positioned for everything that the Peak District has to offer.

The Loft is a spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped apartment, with lovely views - one of the very best such holiday accommodations that I have ever stayed in.. Bradwell is a quiet village, with all essential amenities; the centre of many excellent walks and five minutes' drive from Castleton and the caverns. Staely Homes, market towns, and many other natural and cultural attractions are all within a half-hour drive. I greatly enjoyed my stay in The Loft and highly recommend it.

December 2016
The Loft at Bradwell in the Peak District was fabulous.. If you are looking for total peace and quiet overlooking the fields in a small, cosy, first floor studio apartment with even a balcony, table and chairs, this is for you! The fittings and furniture were high quality and it was tastefully decorated with everything you could possibly need. Although small, there was plenty of definition between the sleeping, watching telly and kitchen area with a fab walk in power shower. It was private and only a stones throw to the village with its pubs serving gorgeous food and a few shops. Ideal for walkers but we just wanted peace and quiet after a hectic Christmas. Couldn't have been nicer and the weather was great too.
Mrs Parry, December 2016
August 2016
When we walked into The Loft it gave us the WOW factor everything you would wish for clean comfortable & all you need with brilliant views & as for the veranda again WOW you could not wish for anything more.. Ideally situated in Bradwell for plenty of local walks, bus stops to Castleton & Bakewell also good pubs in Bradwell village we will return.
Mr Ruddick, August 2016
May 2016
Location was excellent away from the main road and secluded.. The views from the property were great with a lovely balcony to enjoy the outside. The owners were friendly and live in the adjoining property so obviously take great care of the accommodation, which was clean and warm with nice décor. We will definitely be coming back to this place because of the central location in the Peak District and it had a fantastic hot and powerful shower which is very welcome at the end of the day.

April 2016
What an absolute gem! In a beautiful location and the view from the balcony and out of the skylight window was fantastic. It had everything we needed for a complete getaway holiday while being central for all our favourite walks. It was nice knowing the owner was on site if needed but she was never intrusive and that shower was amazing. 10 out of 10, gold stars all the way.

November 2014
We had a really relaxing stay at the Loft. The accommodation is a little small, but that didn't worry us at all and it is very well furnished, well equipped and in a beautiful setting - make sure you take time to have a cup of tea of the deck and say hello to the horses. The local pub (owned by the same people that own the Loft) is only a 5 minute walk away and serves some of the nicest pub food we found in the area. The cottage is in a good central location within the Peak District making it ideal for those who are looking to explore the park and do some walking. The only sort of negative was the WiFi connection which the property is advertised as having, the connection in the cottage turned to be very unreliable and incredibly slow when it did connect. This wasn't too much of an issue, as I like to be disconnected while on holiday, however it did mean that we couldn't do any online research on places that we'd seen whilst out and about.

The Loft Bradwell Stayed here from 15th to 19th Nov 2013 I would describe this place as almost perfect, nice location 5 minutes from the local pub. A pleasant hour and a half walk to Castleton. The loft itself is cosy with everything you could possibly need, one thing that's makes a big difference is the presence of a decent sized fully working TV especially at this time of year. The owner met us at the local pub car park as the loft could be difficult to find, we followed her in, she made us very welcome told us if we needed anything to knock on her door and ask, we didn't and she didn't bother us which was nice as it makes it feel truly independent. There is a small balcony outside over looking the horse field it was lovely in November and I can only imagine how nice it would be in Summer. The bed was extremely comfortable with good quality pillows and quilt. There is a walk in shower cubicle in a very nicely tiled wet room, adjusting the shower was a little bit tricky but then I don't find many that aren't on my travels. We visited the local pub on the Friday night, The Shoulder of Mutton, it was a little bit noisy with a group of local youths but I must say I was impressed at how well mannered and friendly they all were. We didn't eat in the local but the meals I saw being served looked good. We did have a meal at the Old Hall Hotel in Hope that was very nice I had Steak and Ale Pie my wife had Salmon and Prawns no complaints. This was a very pleasant winter break I would highly recommend the loft to any couple young or old, just be aware though that if you are not too nimble on your feet it can only be accessed by a steel staircase outside. Wifi access would add greatly to this property's overall experience, the owner did tell us this is something she is looking into
