Hosting one super king-size bedroom (zip/link), and a shower room, this property can sleep up to two people. Inside you will also find an open-plan sitting, kitchen and dining area with electric fire. To the outside is permit parking, and a shared courtyard with furniture. Located in a lovely setting with an abundance of attractions to explore around the area, The Little Flat is a delightful retreat in a much desired part of England. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome.

All first floor. One bedroom: 1 x super king-size (zip/link, can be twin upon request). Shower room with shower, basin and WC. Open-plan sitting, kitchen and dining area with electric fire.

Area
Barnard Castle is a market town in Teesdale, situated within countryside surroundings. The town is on the site of a Roman ford, which crosses the river, plus the medieval ruins of the castle and the cobble streets, yards, and back lanes are well worth seeing. From the town, there is excellent walking with The Pennine and Teesdale Ways, River Tees and the waterfalls at High Force all nearby.

Absolutely lush flat close to all the shops, cafes and pubs. Is right on the main street but is very quiet and peaceful. Apologies to the owners as we couldn't leave a review on the visitors book, we couldn't find a pen anywhere! but I really liked the detail of putting my dog's name on the water bowl and there was even some treats for him, plus our basket with some very tasty bread, etc. All perfect! thanks.

I've been to Barnard Castle before but haven't stayed there before and was delighted by the welcome given to both me and my dog.. The situation in the heart of the town was perfect for popping out for a walk round the many interesting shops (most dog-friendly) or along the fields by the river but nevertheless quiet when I wanted to "chill"

It was literally step outside the door and you was on the high street which had all the shops you could want and for evening there were plenty of little restaurants and pubs.. Barnard castle is a good Base to travel to other market toes like Northallerton Richmond Durham were the cathedral is well worth it as theasy museum just round the corner of the flat. The flat is ideal for two people and has a little modern bathroom and the bedroom is very comfortable would definitely go again

Great flat in Barnard Caste for an ideal getaway in an excellently appointed flat just off the Market Place.. Great little touches such as welcome hamper and bathrobes make for an overall feel good factor. The flat has everything you need, quality finish throughout all the rooms if you need a place to stay in Barnard Castle look no further.

This property is listed on tripadvisor with a guide price of £34 per night. I made a booking enquiry for early December based on an estimated cost of £102 for 3 nights. I subsequently received a reply from Sykes Holiday Cottages confirming that the property is available for an actual price of £229. I think that it should be clearly stated that the short break house is considerably higher than the advertising on Trip advisor suggests

The Little Flat was situated on the Main Street of Barnard Castle but was actually located at the rear of the building thus making it very quiet but very handy for the High St..

Absolutely lovely property.. Right in the centre of Keswick. Parking not far away and given a permit for it, although it's very busy at times. The property is to an exceptionally high standard, with all the mod-cons. Lots of JosephJoseph kitchenware. Would happily book again if staying in Keswick.

The Little Flat is a gem of a cottage, lovingly restored and decorated in a secluded location yet within a stones through of the market town and scenic river walks.. Doesn't disappoint and would highly recommend a visit.
