Area Crantock is a small Cornish village, set back from the coast, close to the popular resort of Newquay. If you want to escape the crowds, yet still be close to the action, this is the place to be. There's stunning countryside all around and lots of pretty villages to explore; however, it is the coast that dominates. Enjoy superb walks along the coastal path over dramatic cliff-tops, or magnificent surfing on beaches stretching from Watergate Bay in the North to Fistral beach in the centre of Newquay and on down the coast. There are a number of golf courses in the area, as well as National Trust properties, traditional pubs and outstanding restaurants. Newquay itself is a visitor's paradise with a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, plus attractions such as the Sea Life Centre, Newquay Zoo and nearby Dairyland and Eden Project.
Region Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.

The cottage was very well equipped, had everything we needed and more besides.. Very clean, comfortable accommodation, comfy beds and plenty of space. The only (minor) downside is that there is no parking immediately outside the cottage, although this is available at the village hall car park (permit provided) about 3 mins walk away. Not ideal as we had a baby with us, but the shop is only 40 paces away and does very good pasties! Would highly recommend the cottage.

The property was ideal as we were five adults, we all had our own space and all had our own bathrooms.. The property was immaculately clean, and you were right, you would never know dogs could go in there. We felt very comfortable and relaxed.
Being able to walk to Crantock beach was perfect as the car parks were often full. I felt very happy when walking just
across the road to get fresh croissants for breakfast and then walking to the beach, without needing to join the queue of cars down the hill!
We had a lovely meal in CBAY, the food, view and service was amazing. Likewise fish and chips from Cubert are delicious. Kynance cove is a lovely day out and the little cafe down in the cove does great food including cream teas. The little cafe at the most southerly Lizard Point was very nice for a cup of tea or a milkshake. For any golf lovers the men enjoyed the pitch and putt at Holywell bay. As always the beaches at Crantock and Holywell were great. I enjoyed a visit to St Ives as usual although it was very busy.
