The barn is an incredible place to stay! I have previously stayed at the lodges but this time I decided to stay at the barn! It was amazing! Spacious & stylish! There is an incredible new bed fitted with LED lights! The bed was so huge - comfy, warm & toasty! The window & hot tub oversees fields of greens & we was lucky enough to have sunny weather too! Cliff & Maxwell were as friendly as ever! Pointing us in the right direction to explore also! Will 100% be returning & 100% recommend. Enjoy!

Host very friendly and helpful with advice on the area Had a very lovely welcome hamper left which was very kind and enjoyable.. The animals kept there were great and enjoyed seeing them whenever we wanted to aswell as feeding them a complete joy for an animal lover. Maxwell the farm dog was fantastic too, The Barn was everything we wanted together with the hot tub and location perfect. Northallerton we loved and the surroundings made for a great holiday and we would definitely recommend here.

Lovely gesture of a welcome basket - tea bags, coffee chocolates etc.. The cottage is well furnished and decorated, the owner really has thought about everything you could possibly need. The owner and his dog are very friendly and very knowledgeable on the local area. The hot tub was great and the location was lovely and easy to find.

Cliff is an amazing host, he's there when you need him but gives you a wide berth for maximum peace.. It is a working farm, but we barely heard a peep! Very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Games available in the house, loads of pamphlets and information in every last thing in and around the entire of yorkshire - incredible. Well stocked kitchen, such a lovely welcome basket too! The house was absolutely spotless clean, always warm, so spacious and comfortable. I have never enjoyed a stay like this one - already planning my next visit for 5 months time, cannot wait! The hot tub is beautiful, huge, prepped and ready for your arrival, every need is catered for so well. Thank you so much, Cliff! You are, by far, the best host we have ever had!!! Absolutely incredible place, so peaceful and in such a lovely location. The town (Northallerton) is a matter of minutes away, with so many shops and supermarkets and everything you could ever need!! Not too close but not too far from anything you want! Cannot wait to return, 5 stars isn't nearly enough!!!

Had a wonderful holiday , the cottage was very cosy and had the wow factor.. The welcome basket was unexpected but such a nice surprise and I must say very generous. The owner ( sorry I forgot his name ) was very friendly and happy to give tips on all things local and if there were any problems he would be there to help , which is all you can ask. On clear days the sunrises and sunsets were spectacular ( especially the sunrises which could be seen straight out the bedroom window) . Northallerton was just over a mile down the road and had a lot of diverse shops to wander through, also a market on Saturdays and Wednesdays , you could park in Tesco free for 2 hours or there’s a private car park for all day parking for between £1:50 and £2 ( Saturday). Northallerton is in a perfect spot for visiting numerous places we enjoyed visiting Bedale , Richmond, Ripon and Thirsk. So I would have no hesitation in recommending this holiday let .

The cottage was lovely spacious and very bright and had everything could require.. However there was a problem with the hottub at the barn property fallowing a power cut overnight on first night(which therefore outwith owners control) however as the lodge close by was not being utelised were told we could use the hottub on that property instead, which we did so a a few occassions. Therefore shows owner being very helpful to clients

We spent the most memorable Christmas at The Barn.. The owner was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him. The property is located quite central to a lot of the major cities. We would definitely look to rebook The Barn again in the future.

Stop looking around and book this place NOW! It’s amazing! I’m a really really demanding customer who spends forever to find the perfect place to stay! This place was perfect! The pictures do not do it justice at all. They are all accurate, but I don’t think they quiet capture just how nice this place is. It was much larger then we expected! The facilities are unreal! There is everything you could wish for in the kitchen! The cupboards are stocked full of games and DVD’s. The furnishings are very high spec and the bedding is stunning! All top quality! This was a very last minute booking and the place was immaculate and spotless! We even had a very generous welcome hamper, consisting of a bottle of Cava, a jar of coffee, some delicious biscuits and a large back of Tyrell’s potatoes chips! The hot tub was immaculate wand nicely bubbling away when we arrived! It’s great to use on a cold winters night. The views are stunning and their is so much todo within a short driving distance. Takeaways will easily deliver, or there is a Tesco Supermarket only 5 mins drive away! There are also some beautiful restaurants and pubs in Northallerton 5 mins away on the high street which is really cute and quaint. We would tell everyone to book this place, but I do hope it’s availabile for us to return as often as we would like! You are going to be delighted if you stay here!

We have just returned from a weeks stay at this fabulous cottage. The cottage is beautiful and very spacious with plenty to do and central to lots of great locations. The hot tub is brilliant and the whole family loved it. We got a lovely welcome pack upon arrival and the owner was very helpful with giving suggestions for days out and anything else we needed. The friendly dogs were an added bonus and my children loved playing with them. We will be booking again next year!

Lovely cottage.. Well equipped with lots of games and DVDs and everything you need. Lots of little touches like apple chargers etc that were available if needed. An unexpected welcome pack was provided - biscuits, cakes, chocolate, wine etc which was a nice surprise. The "disco hot tub" was great - equipped with music and lights. Friendly owner who ensured we had everything we needed and gave us advice on places to visit. Even gave us some free tickets for Flamingo Land that he had so we had a free day out. Love the animals on the farm - Llamas, Rheas and the dogs. Maxwell the dog came bounding towards us every time we returned back to the cottage wanting a cuddle. Would definitely recommend this cottage especially if you have children,

First class accommodation, very friendly and helpful owner, gorgeous location and generous welcome pack. The hot tub was an added bonus. Everything was clean, super large and fluffy towels - can' think of a single thing that was amiss or had not been thought of. Would book again. Oh - and we loved Ben and Maxwell the farm dogs who were friendly and came to say hello every day without ever being intrusive or looking to enter the property.
