The Annexe, Laburnum is a cosy, single-storey, semi-detached cottage set in the small hamlet of Rescorla near St. Austell. With one double bedroom, the cottage can sleep up to two people. There's also a shower room, a kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area and an electric fire. Outside, there is a courtyard garden with furniture and off road parking for one car. The Annexe, Laburnum is a comfortable, homely place for couples wishing to discover the beautiful south coast of Cornwall.

Area
The old market town of St. Austell lies just a few miles from the south coast, and is famous for its China Clay mining history. Today, home to numerous beaches and sub tropical gardens, it is a popular place for tourists, and families, with plenty to see and do.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Annexe Laburnum.. John was there to greet us and we found the cottage spotlessly clean and very welcoming. The weather was not great during our stay but the cottage is so cosy and comfortable that staying in some mornings/evenings was a pleasure. The kitchen is well equipped, the shower was always hot and the bed ever so comfy! The situation of the cottage is easy access to all parts of Cornwall. Lovely, comfortable little property for two people.. Ideal location for Eden Project, St Austell Brewery and slightly further afield: Padstow, Falmouth and Truro. Friendly host, helpful but not intrusive. All in all a great little place for a break.

The annexe has a damp problem that needs rectifying.. There isn't any facilities to be able to recycle. Everything goes into the same bin.

The annexe was clean and cosy, everything had been thought of and some extras included such as milk, tea and coffee.. The owners were friendly and popped in to see if we needed anything. We had a very pleasant stay and would come again.

The property is comfortable, clean and very well presented.. The view from bedroom window is beautiful. The owners contacted me to ensure that everything was ok with getting settled in and were on hand to answer my questions over where to put rubbish for collection. Couldn't have asked for nicer hosts. Although the property is just off the beaten track it is well furnished with everything you could need to ensure a good stay. Lovely quiet setting with views across fields. I would highly recommend it.

We arrived just after 3 in the afternoon , the key instruction were 100% acurate and on opening the door WOW .. for the rating that was given , should have beenery w ell presented, all rooms where just as discribed and no smells . There was tea , coffee and milk in the fridge which was on ready for us along withe frezzer . We meet the owner about an half hour after arrovl , Very nice couple and was made very welcom would recomend this to anyone and will be back for another visit Bed was very clean an as was towels ext if i had a moan sofa was a little hard as was the bed BUT nothing will be like home Overhaul would give 5 Satrs for this and Price also 5 Stars
