The apartment is a little below the village center, but that doesn't matter at all, as you can quickly walk into the village. There's a small elevator that goes to every floor. There's also a ski storage room. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The living room and bedroom are carpeted, which we personally found unhygienic. Otherwise, the apartment was great!

The apartment is spacious, everything is there that is needed. Location is fine. Only downside is the carpeting, looked quite dirty. For the rest no comments about cleanliness. View of Matterhorn is indeed as in description

Convenient for the station and the town. Good view of the Matterhorn. Very big lounge but not very cosy. Kitchen equipment provided is a bit haphazard. Clean and tidy on arrival.

The assessment is very positive and therefore our vacation was very nice. A note: the receptionist or housekeeper is very friendly and tries hard, but she hardly spoke German and communication was a bit difficult. But that wasn't so bad.

We have been coming to Utoring Matten for 20 years. The flat is well maintained, the lounge/dining room is comfortable and homely and the kitchen, although small, has everything one needs for self catering. Best of all is the south facing balcony with a wonderful view of the Matterhorn! We hope to return next year. The only thing missing is access to a washing machine.
