Stora Gryten Askersund, Örebro

We had a wonderful time relaxing in this Büllerbühaus in a quiet location on a beautiful (swimming) lake, enjoying the sunsets over the lake from the sofa in the glass veranda, and having the lake to ourselves while swimming from our own jetty. Askersund for strolling and Tiveden National Park for hiking are easily accessible by car. The house is very clean and well equipped.

An excellent property. Of course only for nature lovers and hikers. Very beautiful national park with a ranger who was German and gave us good advice. Hosts very friendly, there was even a fresh bouquet of flowers in the kitchen. Small drawback: they said goodbye, probably because of wedding stress in the family. So if you want to see a lot you have to drive a lot, even to go shopping. There is no bakery around the corner, but if you want to go home refreshed, this is the right place.

a very nice large holiday home right on the lake with a large glass terrace with a wonderful view of the lake. The house is very beautiful and every room has a view of the lake. The landlords Siv & Leif are very, very nice and helpful. Great house, great vacation. . . I can only recommend !!!

Convincing in every respect, very well equipped, very quiet with incredibly far-reaching views of the nearby lake with original shorelines. We were 4 nature loving adults. Beautiful natural roads for cyclists to explore the area; also possible on foot. Detailed map available. For us, as long-time Scandinavian holiday home tenants, a real non plus ultra! Friendly, discreet landlords next door are very helpful.

The holiday home is an old farmhouse that exudes a very homely atmosphere. There is a wood-burning stove in the kitchen and a working fireplace in the living room, so it's fun to stay indoors even when the weather isn't so good. The glass-enclosed porch offers a 250 degree panoramic view of the lake, which is just a few steps away. The rowing boat is large and almost new, the electric motor is sufficient when the water is calm. The kitchen equipment is more than complete, absolutely nothing is missing. The beds in the very small second bedroom have very soft mattresses. The third bedroom is a walk-through room. Two bathrooms and two toilets are very convenient. Anyone traveling with dogs should know that the landlords have hangovers. A very trusting and loving animal, but if you have a dog that chases cats, you must keep it on a leash while on the property. The cow pastures reach the property of the holiday home and the cattle are known to be afraid of dogs, so caution is advised. The landlords ... are very personable, always helpful and unobtrusive. Best hosts.

The house is very well equipped and tastefully furnished, everything you need is there, the landlords are very friendly and helpful. The location on the lake is beautiful, a little paradise!

The biggest compliment we can give is: "We felt at home". There is nothing that was missing in this house. Everything is really there. The whole thing is rounded off by super loving landlords. Here, too, everything was exceeded what you could wish for. We were there with our dog, who was received just as warmly and lovingly as we were. If it weren't a Welsh Corgi, you'd have to say he felt right at home. The house itself is as beautiful as the pictures and very, very clean. The jetty invites you to linger and the boat is brand new and is absolutely fine in the water. Here, too, top marks. We caught the May of the Century with consistently 28 degrees and bright sunshine, so for me as an angler the only drop of bitterness because at these temperatures the fish catches fell a little short of expectations. Nevertheless, nice perch with more than 40 cm were hooked. The lake itself is somewhat wind-prone and has very few reed beds. Therefore not easy to fish. We would love to come back and would like to say thank you again for the great holiday with great people
