Look forward to spending your evenings making the most of the stylish kitchen, equipped with everything you could possibly need to rustle up delicious evening meals for all of the family which can be enjoyed within the separate dining room. After dinner, sink into the plush sofa within the sitting room, where you can tune into the TV and keep cosy in front of the woodburning stove. If you are visiting during the summer months, spend a moment or two within the rear garden where a spot of alfresco dining can be enjoyed, whilst your pets make the most of the lawn area. If you don't feel like cooking one evening, there are several excellent pubs and eating options nearby. The nearby village of Pendeen has a shop as well for picking up the essentials. Brush up on the local history by discovering the impressive Levant Engine House which features in the TV series, Poldark or soak up the dramatic views from Pendeen lighthouse.Alternatively, a short car journey will bring you to Penzance which boasts superb shopping opportunities or St Just with a good selection of cafes, shops and galleries. Swallows Nest is a superb base for exploring the North West of Cornwall.

Pendeen is a village resting on the Penwith Peninsula, an Area of Outstanding natural Beauty, in North West Cornwall, situated just 2.5 miles away from St.Just. Within the village you will be delighted to find pubs, convenience stores, pottery/gallery. Whilst here, you can also find a lighthouse which enjoys sea views, stretching for miles. Further afield, you can go shopping in Penzance or visit the filming locations of the BBC's, Poldark.
