Please Note: The settee in the property lounge is changed to a new sofa. This property is an adult only property, no children or infants are allowed. Note: Air cooler provided in bedroom. Note: Please be aware there is a 150 pounds good house keeping bond on this property. Litcham is a traditional village resting in the heart of Norfolk surrounded by a rural landscape and boasting all the amenities you need on a self-catered stay. Find a well stocked combined Post Office and convenience store and a pub, along with a fish and chip shop and other local businesses. Plenty of walking and cycling spots are within reach, including the Nar Valley Way running all the way from East Dereham to King's Lynn, another great place to visit.

Excellent experience. Just returned from a week at Squirrels Drey. The cottage is light, airy and spotlessly clean. It has one of the best bedrooms we have stayed in. It really is just like the photographs. Outside is a secluded suntrap patio, ideal for a relaxing G&T. There is ample secure off-road parking and the whole area is in a quiet countryside location adjacent to the owners' house. It was a pleasure to meet Terry & Marie who were very friendly and helpful. All in all we found it an excellent choice of cottage from which to explore North Norfolk.

Be careful if using this property (which we are unable to recommend) - the cleaning fluid provided in the bathroom causes damage to the plug and the owner uses legal action to claim money way in excess of the cost. Also, be sure to take your own toilet rolls too... One sure way to have your lovely holiday experienced ruined a few days later when the demand comes through

The cottage was spotlessly clean, comfortable with everything you'd want to fully self cater during your stay.. There were also some lovely little touches - fresh flowers in the main room and dressing gowns provided. Although the cottage is in the grounds of the main house it felt very private but on the odd occasion when we did see the owners they were very friendly. The bedroom is wonderfully big - the bed super comfortable and you're able to lie in bed and look at the stars through the velux windows. We were only around 30 mins from the main bird reserves on the north coast - perfect for us, and we got to come back to a comfortable and cosy property at the end of the day. The location is quiet and rural but a number of attractions and the main retail area at Kings Lynn are all within easy travelling distance. We thought it was great value for the week and would certainly think about a return visit.

The host was welcoming and their attention to detail to make the accommodation comfortable was terrific.. We found plenty of places to visit and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

From the moment we stepped inside we knew we had made a good choice.. Everything looked the same as in the pictures, a well equipped cottage with everything you could possibly need. The standard of cleanliness was superb much to my relief....hence our holiday started happy and relaxed. There were very thoughtful touches by the owners..... bedside torches and a plate of welcoming home made cookies are just two. Also the vibrating massage chair in the bedroom is well worth a mention. If pushed, the only thing I would add would be a full length mirror perhaps....other than that just perfect.

The high spec.. of the premise, the convenience, the charm of backwoods Norfolk. Make sure to read the floral folder with the local info. ,you'll find your feet sooner. Unfortunately the catch up feature wasn't active on the tv, but the only changes I would make would be a dab radio in the bedroom (the last touch of luxury) and a framed OS map of the area on the wall downstairs for info. (It is a bit off the beaten track!) All in all, a very good and relaxing experience, and look forward to going again.

Lovely cottage well positioned in the countryside, in the beautiful county of Norfolk.. Easy access to many places of interest. The cottage itself was well laid out and ideal for us. Had plenty of room, and a little private patio. Nice decor, and a good king sized bed to stretch out on after a day out. In fact every thing one needs for an enjoyable stay. The owners were pleasant and approachable, and near at hand if there were any problems. In our case, things went smoothly. So we were left alone to get on with our stay, with the odd wave or "good morning". Will we stay there again. Yes indeed. Peter & Jackie
