Really lovely cottage and perfect for our weekend.. The host was helpful in suggesting things to do with our small children in the area. There were also lovely touches such as milk/tea/coffee in the kitchen, and shampoo and toothpaste in the bathroom.

A lovely holiday cottage, set in an ideal location for exploring all the many sights the local area has to offer..

Had a lovely Christmas in the cottage, which was warm, cosy and peaceful, and some sweet welcoming touches which were much appreciated.. It was just what we needed, in a lovely village, local shop had everything you could need and The Volunteer was great, lovely staff, extensive gin menu and huge portions! Malmesbury is a very quaint little town, and we enjoyed Chippenham and Cirencester. There were a couple of little things in the cottage that I have fed back to the owners, who were very welcoming and friendly. We do agree with other comments re the proximity of the cottage to the main house, not that the owners were intrusive at all, far from it, we just felt more conscious about disturbing them when coming and going, but that’s just personal feeling. Thank you again for a memorable holiday.

Owner was very nice however the photos do not accurately reflect the condition of the property.. It looks more tired than the pictures show. It is directly on a country lane and is very loud when vehicles go past (even from the upstairs bedrooms).
