Friendly owners, very approachable and happy to help.. Accommodation was lovely, couldn't fault it at all - probably one of the best we've ever had. Price of holiday was reasonable compared with other accommodation in the area.

The barn we stayed at was amazing, rural enough that you were well secluded (single lane track 3/4 mile to get there an other 300 yards onto the property from the road) but it was almost central Norfolk (field next to us was! ) so a great hub for exploring all parts of Norfolk. Owners were lovely, it a great view out over the fields from the barns too Even with places shutting all around us due to the virus, there were plenty of places to see and do, a coastal walk at Cromer, lots of lovely villages to walk around, and National trust properties with lovely large grounds... We will definitely be heading back when we are able, there is so much more we want to see and do...

Great stay at Snowy Owl Barn.. It's in a lovely location, is well kitted out, and was immaculately clean. The view from the patio is out over fields from where we watched deer and a variety of birds whilst having breakfast - so relaxing! We used it as a base whilst visiting family in the area and is well situated for the North Norfolk Coast, Norwich and the Broads, as well as for Thetford Forest, Brandon Country Park etc. Would definitely book again.

It's an excellent base to travel from - there is a very narrow, one car road, for about a mile from Shipdham to the farm gates, there are a few passing places.. It's quiet and tranquil, just the job after a busy day out. There is a small shop in Shipdham that is open until 7pm. The barn is kitted out to a high standard, and the bed is very comfortable.

The area itself is truly beautiful and the studio barn was perfect. The outlook was so peaceful and relaxing and the owners were really friendly and had good knowledge about the area for our days out and places to eat. We would certainly recommend this place and will be visiting again. If this is the standard of property that you have on your books then well done.

This is absolutely excellent accommodation in a great location for a quiet holiday. The cottage was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen is very well equipped with a full oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster and kettle. There is a lovely little patio out the back, we were lucky with the weather and thoroughly enjoyed eating our breakfast outside in the sunshine. There was also a very comfortable bed, table and chairs, a large shower (towels provided) and plenty of space outside to put our peddle bikes. The owners are friendly and helpful and it was an excellent base for exploring Norfolk. The only possible criticism we could make is that the wifi really didn't work inside the barn, but quite frankly we rather enjoyed being disconnected for a few days. Overall, a fantastic place to have a holiday.

September 2015
We had a very peaceful and relaxing holiday. The cottage was in a good place for visiting places like Cromer and Yarmouth, which were within an hours drive. Sitting on the patio during the day or in the evening just watching the birds in the fields or reading a book made it the most relaxing holiday we have had. Thanks again to the owners for a lovely retreat, will definitely be booking it next year.

A newly converted barn with modern furnishing, well equipped. The lovely barn is decorated really well and has thick walls so we were never cold. The setting is very peaceful, overlooking the Norfolk countryside. The barn is located on a very well maintained equestrian farm, the owners are friendly and gave us lots of good advice re. local pubs, shopping, days out. The location is in the heart of Norfolk and driving to the coast or Norwich gave us fantastic unspoilt views through lovely villages.

Really lovely place; we were made to feel very welcome by the owners and their various animals and pets. Perfect escape from the city and a great base to discover the area. Superbly done barn-conversion with high ceilings and exposed beams with ots of thoughtful touches to make the place even more welcoming. Had a comfy and roomy bed and the bathroom was good-sized with power shower and fine Egyptian towels! The kitchen was even big enough to cook a Christmas dinner! Lovely private patio with great views of the surrounding area. Highly recommend and would happily stay there again in the future. Perfect getaway for couples of all ages.

Fantastic barn conversion completed to a very high standard. Nice rural feel but not too far from towns. The owners had thought of everything in terms of equipment and supplies - even down to the tea and milk in the fridge. The small garden with table and chairs gave us a lovely place to sit to have breakfast and lunch in relative privacy. The horses in the stables always welcomed a visit and a chat!
