Despite its emerging artsy identity, Deal hasn’t lost its seaside charm. You’ll find amusement arcades, fish and chip shops and a Saturday market that has existed since 1699. And your pretty home is less than a ten-minute walk from it all. Inside, it’s bright and comforting, with muted tones and a curated selection of modern and shabby chic furnishings. Out the back, there’s a quiet courtyard with seating area for drinks at sundown and a fire pit to keep you toasty. On wet and windy days, leaf through the kitchen’s recipe books and cook up a warming supper. Retreat to the cosy lounge afterwards, with a warm mug of tea and a slice of the county’s own Canterbury Tart.
