We had a lovely stay at Rockville.. The cottage is in a great location in Hawes great for exploring the Dales. The host was great and very helpful. Tv lost its channels and it was fixed that day. I would recommend this cottage to others.

Enjoyed our stay at Rockville, great location in the centre of Hawes.. Parking available in a locked garage behind the cottage so no trouble finding a space. We had good food in the white hart pub and also from the chip shop and pizza shop in the town too so you don't have to travel to get good quality food. Owner very friendly and only lived local so easy for dropping off and collecting the key. Would happily come back and recommend to friends and family.

I was looking for a centrally located cottage in Hawes, near but not on the High Street.. The cottage (Rockville) was just what I wanted. Highly recommended

Lovely, warm and comfortable cottage right in the middle of Hawes. Very clean bedding and towels included. Would definitely stay again. If I had a suggestion for improvement, it would that the kitchen needs at upgrade. That being said, the kitchen is useable and practical. Hawes is a beautiful village in a prime location to explore the Dales.

Lovely holiday home, perfectly situated in Hawes, with the advantage of onsite parking.. The house has everything you could need for a perfect break in the Dales. Sheila the landlady is lovely and always happy to help. This was our second visit to Rockville this year and we'll definitely be booking again.

The house was amazing.. It had all the home comforts. The pictures don’t do it justice. I would definitely recommend staying here, it’s in the centre of Hawes close to shops, pubs and restaurants. We will definitely go back.

Fantastic house in a perfect spot.. Just a few seconds walk and you're in the centre of Hawes. Set back from the main road it's wonderfully quiet with the added bonus of parking on site. Can't wait for our next visit in April.

Absolute gem of a place, from parking the two cars on site, a definite bonus, to walking in the front door.. It just seemed to wrap it's arms around you in a very warm welcolming embrace, so comfortable and appealing. The cottage was extremely clean and tidy and in a prime position to explore the village and beyond and Mrs Alderson was the perfect host, especially when we thought the cooker had broken. It was us and not the appliance we had not realised you had to have the "hand" position on the timer to activate the fan oven!!!! Would definitely come back to Rockville in beautiful Hawes.

My Husband and I stayed in October 2016 with our little Jack Russell and really enjoyed it, This was sadly our last holiday together, as my Husband died suddenly in April, 2017. It was his wish for his ashes to be scattered in Hawes, therefore I requested a booking for September 2018, but found that this cottage was no longer pet friendly. I messaged and asked whether, seeing as we'd stayed with our dog once before, they would make an exception, but I never even received the courtesy of a reply, which I feel is very poor customer relations.Needless to say I have now booked elsewhere in Hawes!

The cottage has night storage heaters but we didn't really know how to get the best out of these.. A few instructions on the input and output settings would be helpful. Generally the cottage is spot on in an ideal location. Having parking for two cars is a bonus

Came home yesterday after a wonderful stay at Rockville. When we first walked in it was far more than expected. The living room was perfect with its open fire. The dining room was lovely. The whole downstairs had just had new carpets laid and the sofa's were also new.The owner was lovely and showed us around. We have a dog so the patio area was perfect for her. To us it was so warm snd cosy. Infact we have made enquiries to stay there again next year. The views from back of the cottage are breathtaking, the runningwater and the waterfalls are amazing.Everyone in the shops and pubs are so friendly. Plus the cottage is central to anywhere you would like to go. Aysgarth, Ingleton. Most places are within an hour away. Thank you for such a lovely place to stay and we definitely WILL be back next year.

Great holiday, have used a motor-home for last 20 years.. Recently sold motor-home and thought we would try a cottage. Will probably continue to use cottages. Couldn't have tried a better cottage. So comfortable and ideally situated. Facilities and walks on the doorstep. Didn't find the steps at the back a problem as somebody suggested as you could use the front door and walk round.
