Riverhouse Lodge is a brilliant property located in the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The cottage has two bedrooms both with en-suite shower rooms and is suitable to sleep up to four people. Inside you can find a kitchen with a lovely dining area, as well as a sitting room with a spacious corner sofa for everyone to relax on. The back garden features a Mediterranean styled garden where you can relax and enjoy the sunny weather. Riverhouse Lodge is a great property for a small family or two couples looking to explore to wonders of Dorset and its coast.

With beautiful golden beaches to explore in the summer months offering watersports and scenic walks, including the well renown Durdle Door and Chesil Beach, it's a great place to soak your toes in the sand and take in the fresh air of the coastal breeze. Dorchester is just a short drive away too, a bustling area offering attractions for all including a wide variety of museums and plenty of places to dine and shop, Weymouth offers a great base for a coastal holiday with your loved ones.

Great accommodation, clean and spacious, with pretty tropical garden to the front. Washing machine and dishwasher in large kitchen. An excellent base for a Dorset holiday.

We booked this cottage at short notice and frankly could not have done better, It is situated a few miles from Weymouth and Dorchester, so has easy access to beaches, fantastic countryside for walking from the cottage and a short drive to anywhere in West Dorset. We visited Cerne Abbas, Milton Abbas, Golden Cap, Burton Bradstock, Portland, Weymouth, Kimmeridge Bay and Swanage, not forgetting the delightful Upwey Wishing Well (twice!) a short walk away. The Wey Valley Walk is one of many options without driving anywhere and is delightful. Cottage facilities are excellent, with plenty of room for four, with the bonus of a beautiful garden, for eating or simply relaxing in. It is the ideal getaway for 2 couples and with wheelchair access and one toilet suitable for disabled/older people, it would be great if you want to take elderly parents away for a break. Highly recommended.
