Smugglers Cottage is a contemporary three-storey property by the harbour in Weymouth, Dorset. the property has two bedrooms - a twin and a second-floor king-size double with en-suite - sleeping four guests. The property has a family bathroom with bath and shower over, a cloakroom, kitchen/diner, utility and a sitting room with gas fire. A small courtyard garden. Smugglers Cottage is a wonderful base for a seaside getaway in Dorset. Please note: This property does not accept children under the age of 6. Note: Nearest pay and display parking is at DT4 8UD Nothe car park a few minutes walk. Note: On road zone parking permit (subject to spaces being available) expires 28 Apr 2027 (subject to council renewal) Note: Fayre In The Square (usually late May Bank Holiday weekend each year) and Wessex Folk Festival (usually first weekend of Jun each year. These fantastic free festivals see the harbour and Hope Square closed to traffic. With live music, entertainment and stalls throughout the weekend. Portland Harbour is a short drive away, along with the rugged “Isle” of Portland, linked to Weymouth by Chesil Beach. Nearby Dorchester is worth a day trip, while a scenic journey along the coastal road towards Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens is also a must.
