Ridgeback House is the perfect choice for a coastal holiday with family and friends, its village location ensuring you can park up and leave the car on the drive. Walk to Mullion Cove or along the coastal footpath to the sandy cove of Polurrian. Poldhu Cove, a little further along the path offers a great beach café, with takeaway pizza a great spot to watch the setting sun whilst the children play on the beach. There are four lovely large bedrooms and three bathroom and the property can sleep up to eight people. A comfortable sitting room offers a restful place to relax and a sleek modern kitchen/diner is ideal for family gatherings. Outside a fully enclosed garden is a sunny haven and there is a super summer house and useful utility/games room with pool table. There is off-road parking for two cars.

Four bedrooms: 1 x super king-size bed with TV, en-suite shower room with walk-in double shower, basin and WC. 2 x super king-size bed zip/link can be twin on request, with TV, 1 x twin with TV. Bathroom with bath shower over, basin and WC. Sitting room. Kitchen with dining area and breakfast bar. Shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC. Games room with football table, Smart Tv and utility area. Summer House with TV.

Area
Mullion is a large village on the Lizard Peninsula, five miles south of Helston and just over five miles from Lizard Point, the most southerly tip of mainland Britain. The village is home to a selection of popular restaurants, shops and pubs, Mullion Meadows Chocolate Factory and coffee shop, as well as Mullion Cove, a pretty working harbour. Helston is a pleasant busy market town famous for its Flora Day Festival and the many stories and legends about the "Furry Dance" are told in the fascinating Helston Folk Museum. Nearby is the Poldark Mine, one of the best underground experiences in the south west and which tells of the widespread mining heritage of this area. Further afield is the harbour town of Falmouth to the east and Land's End to the west. Mullion is a wonderful holiday destination offering plenty of attractions for the whole family.

Firstly Sykes is a brilliant website to use when searching for a property, easy to navigate and the app is great too.. Ridgeback House was a great family house in a perfect location. It was VERY well equipped, they thought of everything you might need. I recieved a welcome email from the owner making sure all was well and to contact her if we had queries which was a nice touch too. We didn't need to travel more than 20mins on foot or in the car all week. Stunning beaches, chocolate and craft center, Flambards theme park, cafes, parks & shops! I would definitely recommend to others and hope to return soon - a true home from home.

Maybe a good idea to send out the right key code and telephone number of local person who is able to be contacted for any help needed.. Instead of which we were given the wrong key code and the telephone number we were given as a contact was the owner who happened to be on holiday in Spain when we contacted her.When we eventualy after phoning Sykes Cottages we entered the property the local number was inside the property wich was of little use when you cant gain access.So sorry we were a little disappointed with your service as we have not had any issues with other properties we have booked through Cornishcottage holidays i think you need to make sure the information you send out is correct.

The cottage was in a very quiet location, but only minutes walk away from shops and pubs.. There were 6 adults and a 3 year child in our party, but there was lots of space and everything we needed for and excellent stay.

The best equipped rental house we have every stayed in.. We were very pleased to be provided with essentials like tea, coffee, dishwasher tablets and much more for our long weekend away. Our party (3 generations) consisted of 3 couples and 2 children and the bedrooms suited us perfectly. Beds were very comfortable and everywhere was very clean. Having a tv in each room was a bonus as the children could watch their favourites and the adults theirs. We would definitely like to visit this house and Mullion again.

We thought that this was an extremely well presented holiday home with excellent facilities.. The location close to the centre of Mullion village and within easy reach of the stunning coastal scenery was ideal. We think that Ridgeback House is first class and we would highly recommend it to friends and the rest of our family.

Great holiday.. A really lovely house with every possible need catered for. A co-op and Mullion store very close by with a chippy and pub within a 5 minute walk. Great base to explore the lizard peninsula. Had a very unfortunate problem but Sykes and the owner were very helpful and fair. Was fixed as quickly as possible. Much appreciated. Thank you Sykes, and we can honestly say Ridgeback house is the nicest, well thought out and equipped holiday let we have ever been too. Highly recommended.

This was a very well equipped and spacious holiday home that easily accommodated our party of 5 adults and 2 under 5's.. It is well placed for the village of Mullion and local attractions and walks. As we know the area well we knew exactly where it was but it is attached to a council estate and not what you would call pretty so if you want lovely views in a picturesque setting this is not for you.

Ridgeback House was lovely and an ideal base to explore the Coastal walks around Mullion.. We found Ridgeback to be exceptionally well equipped and the cream tea and biscuits along with the milk and jam was a welcome surprise.
