Nestled in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, surrounded by countryside with many well marked footpaths to guide you through the stunning scenery, including the Meend circular route with Moorland ponies and views across the Brecons. For the more adventurous among us there is rock climbing and canoeing at Symonds Yat which is walkable through the historic woodland with a lunch at the Saracens Head, Go Ape at Mallards Park and ample mountain biking routes around the Forest of Dean and the Black Mountains across the Welsh border.
