Beautiful well equipped cottage. Very clean and very comfortable. Everything you would need in a holiday home including items other places never seem to have such as tea towels, dish cloths, dishwasher tablets, cling film etc. Warm and spacious, really felt at home here. Fantastic location for visiting the mountains and the coastlines of Snowdonia. A shop is next door for every day items and there are lots of walks on the doorstep. This is 5* accommodation in every way. You won't be disappointed.

As I have booked this cottage, and used Sykes several times before, to say this met my expectations underplays its true worth - it is an excellent cottage in a good position for walking in Snowdonia and the booking process was as seamless as ever.. I appreciated the phone call beforehand warning me that the building works next door were lasting longer than originally expected, but in fact I did not experience any problems.

Beautiful cottage, excellent spot for getting to various places throughout Snowdonia.. ...walks and cycle rides on your doorstep. Really lovely and it has everything you need. One point is to remember your slippers! The floor in the kitchen in particular is cold but this is February and did not deter from the time we spent there. We'll hopefully be back!

This house is situated in the most ideal location, being a short drive away from multiple activities (all the Zip World activities, Surf Snowdonia, Snowdon base, etc). The house is lovely and really well kitted out. We had all the utensils you could need in the kitchen (including flasks and Tupperware should you require) and comfortable living areas and very comfortable beds. If you’re considering booking this house I really don’t think you’d regret your stay here. Thank you for having us!

The cottage had been very well and tastefully improved - full credit to the owners.. It had one of the best equipped kitchens of a holiday cottage I have ever experienced - I have got into the habit of taking things like sharp knives with me which were not needed this time. Everything worked and the instructions were clear and comprehensive. It was well sited for walking in various parts of Snowdonia, and I would happily book it again. OK the weather was mixed, but there is nothing that the owners or Sykes could do about that. The only minor correction would be that the nearest pub has been closed and sold off. However there is a hotel with a bar about 200 yards down the road for those who need a drink!
