Situated in lovely countryside, this property is probably more suited to a younger crowd. The property sits on a dangerous blind corner and the only safe way to exit the difficult driveway is for someone to watch out for traffic from the opposite side of the road as there is no safety mirror. Uneven and unlit steps lead to the front door. The decor is very nice but the seating was not comfortable at all - neither were the beds. Contacting the owners was very problematic. Will not be back!

The cottage was absolutely beautiful.. Spacious and light and well equipped. We loved the kitchen area with the big kitchen table and wood burner. We spent our evenings playing card/board games there. The bedrooms were spacious with incredible views from both windows. The cottage was in a lovely area, not far from both villages with lovely walks and a great tea room. We would definitely return.

The cottage is beautifully sited above the road with great views.. It has outside seating, ideal for taking in those views whilst enjoying a coffee or glass of something! Inside all rooms continue to offer the views; they are a good size, clean, light, well-maintained, well- equipped & very comfortable. The cottage is in a good location for visiting Snowdonia, Conwy & all the villages, walks & other tourist attractions. The owner was friendly & helpful when we contacted her. We really hope to revisit when travel returns to normal.

This cottage is amazing.. The owners communication is fantastic so helpful and friendly. The cottage is equipped with everything you could need and more. Everythinh has bee thoughy about. It is immaculately clean the beds are very comfy. A very helpful information booklet compiled by the owner with all the daft bits that no one ever tells you but are essential to making your break go smoothly. The views are stunning and the local people very friendly. Overall a lovely home from home place to spend your holiday. We didnt want to leave. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us and being so helpful. It may be an idea to have a boot box or something outside the front or back door as after walking and having muddy boots we didnt want to trail into the kitchen, very minor point but may be useful.

2Ysgubor Gerrig is perfect in every way, it’s comfortable, warm with all the little extra touches that make it a home from home.. The views are stunning from all the windows, this was out third visit there, & we will certainly hope to return next year. The autumn colours were breathtaking everywhere we went, A wonderful ‘ breathing space’ in a hectic world. Thanks

It was a very clean and in a very good location for sightseeing in the area.. There was a lot to see and do and we visited so many castles, Abbey and stately homes. We would highly recommend 2 Ysgubor Gerrig to anyone going to that part of Wales.

What a smashing little cottage,, the house was well equipped and clean. The bed in main room was very comfortable and ensuite was spotless. The view from house front was just lovely and watching the farmer at work was relaxing. The sheep were sometimes vocal at night but it didn't bother us in the slightest. The house was very local for reaching local village Llanwrist and we found a lovely walk along the path to suspension bridge. There had been anew patio area laid which was pretty for sitting in sun with a glass of wine, however the sun was away by five thirty because of surrounding trees. The driveway could be tricky but we managed fine with precautions. Overall a really nice property. Only one small thing, nowhere to hang out washing, but a clothing airer is provided. Very happy to return to this property

Access drive to cottage is off of a busy road and there was not enough space to safely turn large car around.. Had to reverse with help. Garden is at the front, so some traffic noise when sitting out there. These points were listed so not unexpected and did not spoil our stay. The equipment and facilities were of a high standard. Another set of bath towels would have been nice but not expected. Very comfortable, especially beds, with lovely views across fields. Close to lots of places of interest and we could walk into the village. We had a very good stay and would recommend this accommodation.

Very comfortable cottage enjoyed by the whole family.. Felt like a home from home. Especially appreciated the family games which we used on the evenings.

Cottage was beautiful, very clean, well equiped, warm and in a great location, with excellent views.. Very minor comments - Driveway is very tight, difficult for long vehicles. Beds a little too firm for our preference, bi-fold doors give limited privacy for the bathrooms. Door mat is too small, so cannot avoid paddling wet boots onto the wooden floor

The drive up to the cottage is very tricky and this should be made clearer in the description.. You can only go up the drive from one direction, it is on a blind bend therefore reversing into the road is impossible. I had to do a 7 point turn in a Golf so anyone with a bigger car would really struggle to turn their car around. The issues with the drive need to be explained so that people can make an informed choice. Also some extra toilet rolls would have been good. Only two half rolls available in the cottage. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- OWNERS RESPONSE We are sorry that you found the drive difficult during your stay. The drive is already highlighted in our cottage description. There is a mirror available to aid the exit from the drive and also the option to park on the road in front of the cottage.

A beautiful cottage in a stunning area.. So much to see and do, then time to relax in the large cuddle chair in the living room and enjoy the views. Everything you need is provided including a very informative welcome pack. Even though we stayed in February the cottage was really warm and cosy, with perfect amount of space for a family. We all felt completely at home and made many family memories during our stay.

The cottage and village are both charming.. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. We had the most lovely week walking amongst the mountains, and knowing we had a comfy sofa to return to was what we needed.

This is a gorgeous cottage – its lovely and clean, comfortable, very well appointed and beautifully decorated. Its in a fantastic location, with great views from all the rooms, and its perfectly situated to visit seaside resorts, lots of local attractions and the mountains. We ate mostly in the cottage, as there is a great kitchen/diner (and you can have a fire, which was fab), but its also very convenient to walk into the village of Trefiw, and we did have a very good meal in the pub there. I would highly recommend staying here.

This cottage is a lovely place to stay! It really is beautiful! The owners of this cottage have made a real effort to give you an idea of the local towns and attractions, by listing nearby places and attraction with a brief description. This is much easier than looking everything up online. All the furnishings are lovely, and all the appliances and cooking utensils you will need are provided. The TV is a smart TV and the wifi is very good. The beds and sofas are very comfortable (especially the sofas!!! SOOO COMFY!!!!). The location is fantastic!! We had a very action packed holiday (climbed Snowdon, go below ultimate extreme, zip world titan and bounce below, Aber falls) and all the things we wanted to do were a half an hour drive or less. The only negative is the driveway is hard to manoeuvre, but this is mentioned on the website and so was expected. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Wales, we have honestly had the best holiday ever! The cottage really is beautiful and the pictures do not do it justice. Wales truly is a magnificent place full of stunning and breath taking places to visit and fun and exhilarating things to do. We plan on coming back next year! What an incredible holiday!!!
