Ty Barddu is single-storey and has one king-size double with en-suite shower, basin and WC, along with an open-plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Appliances include an electric cooker, microwave, and fridge, and for entertainment there is a Smart TV, WiFi, Netflix free for guests, and a selection of books. Outside, there is off-road parking for one car and a veranda with a table and chairs. One well-behaved dog welcome. There is a £30 per pet, per holiday supplement in place for this property.. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. Sorry, this is a smoke-free property. You can find a shop within 5 miles and a pub within 3.7 miles. Note: There are 10 steps up to this property, therefore it may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Note: This property is not suitable for babies or children. Ty Barddu is a lovely escape for a break in South Wales.

The bustling market town of Newcastle Emlyn is set on the River Teifi and offers an array of shops, both unique local producers and larger chain stores, such as designer clothes, crafts and jewellery, antiques, tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and a ruined castle, plus fishing permits are available nearby. Surrounding Newcastle Emlyn is beautiful countryside, whilst the rugged Cardiganshire coastline is just six miles away, where you have the opportunity to visit Cardigan Island Farm Park, wonderful sandy beaches, or take a boat trip to spot dolphins and seals at New Quay. Within driving distance is the town of Carmarthen, Dylan Thomas' Boat House in Laugharne, Cenarth Falls, paintballing, Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, Oakwood Theme Park and train rides at Henllan, along with an array of castles, mills and craft centres. Newcastle Emlyn is an excellent base for exploring this part of Wales.
