Setting for the cottage is lovely, very quiet just what we wanted.. If you don't mind the steep climb up the lane and driveway to the cottage it is actually a great place to cycle from. There is a quiet back road to Kidwelly and then a national cycle route from there. Also a pleasant quiet ride to the local pub.

Generally very happy with the cottage.. Owners very pleasant and eager to assist with any problems although there were none. Other users complained of the stairs but we found them quite usable and not too steep. Cottage is deceptively roomy and the pictures don't do it justice. Also the use of the large grounds around the cottage a great bonus, especially for us dog owners.

Very welcoming owners.. Grounds and history of the cottage and the ruin fascinating. Wonderfully quiet and peaceful. Marvellous position to visit the local area.

Staircase is too "steep", unavoidable because of the age? of the property. Not advisable for anyone unsteady on their feet.

Owners friendly without being intrusive, welcomed suggestion gave them.. We were visiting relatives so thought we knew the area yet still found plenty of new places. Our dogs thought the cottage great along with the grounds. May go back same time next year. For future guests use the street map sent by Owners in welcome e-mail, it gets you there no problems.
