Beautiful cottage finished to a high standard to give the added feel of luxury.. Comfortable and spotlessly clean with all the facilities you could need. Set in beautiful surroundings with amazing views, especially nice when sat relaxing in the hot tub looking out at the scenery. The hot tub is in it's own enclosed building making it perfect for use any time of year. A warm welcome was received from the owners and amazing hospitality shown to us during our stay. Ideal for a quiet getaway but only a few miles from many attractions if you want to venture out. We definitely intend to return

We had a brilliant time at Cambriol with our three children.. we have been to a few Sykes cottages but this was the best by far. It had a high end finish, all the contents that you could ever need and was super clean too. The owners were really friendly and helpful. It's a brilliant get away for families and the hot tub is just the cherry on the cake.

Absolutely stunning cottage, furnished beautifully and very modern.. The under floor heating is added luxury, we stayed in late January and was lovely and warm. Kitchen has everything you need, and the welsh cakes on arrival went down a treat. We lay in most mornings because the bed is so comfy, but the location is close to Carmarthen and other interesting spots so don’t need to be up at the crack of dawn. The hot tub is huge! Lovely lights and you can play your own music through the speakers via blue tooth. You have plastic glasses to enjoy nice drink there too. If it gets too hot you can open the sliding doors to an amazing view of the countryside. The owner is really lovely, available if we ever needed anything. Can’t believe the luxury we got for the price, would definitely return.

We have stayed at Cambriol several times.. It is very comfortable, equipped to a high standard and is in a peaceful location with great views. The new hot tub has been installed to a high specification and was a hit with all of us. The owners, Helen and Ian, are very hospitable and we have enjoyed staying on the farm and exploring the nearby countryside and coast. We would be happy to recommend Cambriol and hope to stay again in the future.

This is a fantastic cottage.. Highly recommended. The location is great. Lovely country side and a lot to do and explore in the area. The cottage is kept to a very high standard. Very clean, completely equipped with everything you need and warm and welcoming. The farm is a lovely place for children. Lots of space to run around. Feeding the lambs was the highlight of the holiday. The owners are absolutely brilliant. Very helpful and friendly, can not thank them enough for the help with the car. We had a great holiday and will be back.

Cambriol is the perfect escape to the country.. Beautiful warm, clean house with all the little touches added in. The owner is always on hand to offer any day trip advice and to point you in the right direction for local walks. Lovely Welsh cakes greeted us on arrival and the house really does have everything you could possibly need. Loved it and would love to go back again at some point. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

This was the best cottage that we have ever stayed in! It had everything that we needed and was very comfortable and relaxing. The views across the valley are spectacular (even though we didn't have the best weather). The fireplace in the cottage was very useful and made it even more cosy on the days that we spent inside. The owner is lovely and welcomed us when we arrived with tea which was much appreciated. The location is excellent for visiting the surrounding area and we hope to come back again one day! Thank you so much.

A thoroughly enjoyable, comfortable and relaxing stay at this beautiful barn conversion, on a working sheep farm.. Situated on a hillside overlooking the stunning Carmarthenshire countryside 'Cambriol' was spotlessly clean, well equipped, with fixtures and fittings of the highest quality, the owners had thought very carefully about and provided everything needed to make our stay thoroughly enjoyable, magazines, DVDs, books, games, and even a local newspaper. If you're considering a stay in this beautiful part of Wales I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Helen and Ian for your warm welcome and friendliness.

Owners are lovely, friendly & helpful & unobtrusive despite the barn being in their farm.. They have renovated the barn to a very high standard of finish. Much more spacious than photos or description conveyed.

Fantastic converted barn - views from all windows are absolutely stunning and seating area outside is fantastic for the warmer weather. The open plan kitchen, diner & lounge works really well, especially allowing us all to spend our holiday time together and keep an eye on the kids. The upstairs master bedroom is fantastic - a wonderful luxury in the converted barn, as well as the beautiful bath that was much loved by all. Thoroughly relaxing break!! You won't be disappointed - will definitely return.

The cottage was immaculate and fitted out to a very high standard with its setting being ideal. The cottage in reality is better than the Sykes pictures if possible. The owners were most welcoming. The cottage provides an ideal location for visiting all locations - Carmarthenshire/ Pembrokeshire etc. Beaches, walks, castles and activity country park were all within easy travelling. Thoroughly recommended.

March 2015
The cottage was stunning both inside and out. It was decorated and furnished to an extremely high standard, with every detail catered for. Inside the cottage the utilities are provided and all in perfect working order, with extra touches that make a big difference. The fireplace is electronic but provides a nice ambience, the TV is HD with good channels and all the necessary input sources. The bath is luxurious and the bed is even more so - too many lie ins were had because of how comfortable it was. The immediate location is beautiful, with the owners grounds surrounding the cottage and views from every window (and in the bath - strongly recommended!). While surrounded by country and pleasantly isolated from any disturbances, the town of Carmarthen is only a short journey by car, maximum of 15 minutes, with all the shops and restaurants you could need. An excellent base for a number of nearby locations and there are leaflets, maps, and a recommendation book provided also.

While secluded, the location is excellent for a number of days out, with national parks an hour away, stunning beaches half an hour or less. Recommend taking a bike. The owners are friendly and happy to help, recommend or just chat, and not least supply this wonderful cottage for guests!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week staying in Cambriol. It is a beautifully renovated barn which we found very comfortable. Our two young boys loved seeing the sheep and donkeys, and were lucky enough to meet the first lamb of the year on the farm! The open plan living area was great as the boys had plenty of room to play. The owners are extremely welcoming and greeted us with homemade biscuits which went down very well. Cambriol is well located within a short drive to the main town for shopping and not far from the lovely sandy beaches of South Wales and also the Brecon Beacons.
