Further afield, about a ten-minute cruise along the Pacific Coast Highway, is Santa Monica Pier. The home is surrounded by leafy trees and set across multiple levels. Sitting on the balcony, you'll almost feel like you're in a treehouse. The design is cosy yet simple, with two bedrooms and a sofa bed for one guest. A desk in the lounge is also ideal for remote working.
