Exit to the terrace. 1 room 10 m2 with 1 double bed (1 x 140 cm, length 200 cm). Exit to the terrace. 1 room 20 m2 with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm), shower/WC and cable TV. Exit to the terrace. Kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, microwave, freezer, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra). Bathroom, sep. WC. Electric heating. Large garden, south-west facing position. Terrace furniture, barbecue (portable), deck chairs (5). Marvellous view of the lake and the mountains. Supermarket 1.4 km, shopping centre 3.2 km, restaurant 700 m, bus stop "Clarens, St-Georges" 130 m, railway station "Montreux" 2.8 km, pebble beach 100 m (small), lake Lac Léman. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Duck House. Being a Freddie Mercury fan, it was quite special to be able to stay here. The exterior grounds were a bit disappointing. They need to be more properly manicured. Especially when compared to the neighbors' homes on either side. The plants and trees were not properly maintained. There was quite a bit of overgrowth and weeds. It takes away from the beauty of the house. The house itself is beautiful! Comfortable beds, and quiet! We will stay again!

Hello, we are of course here because of the "Freddie" past. It is fantastic, situated on the lake and offers the desired tranquility. Nevertheless, we had the impression that the hygiene and the many leftovers from past visitors, in particular the "leaving" of old spices, made it necessary to have the interior of the house cleaned and disinfected. At least for an object of this dimension. Otherwise: it is a house full of emotions!

Dream location, property a little bit old. Value for money: "Yes". Especially on cold nights, the windows are not tight (70s!), cold and drafts in sleeping and. bathrooms. Salon very lovingly and tastefully furnished. Caretaker very friendly and helpful. Oven and dishwasher as well as heating renewed. However: the resilience of the power grid still corresponds to the 1970s. Complete power failure when operating the oven and dishwasher. Panorama very great.

A journey into another time. You can feel the spirit and creativity of Freddie and other artists as well. Top equipped, from crockery, glasses, fondue sets and spices to firewood and iPod. The house, the lake and the grounds are unique. However, if you expect equipment at the most modern level, you will not find this. But there is everything you need, everything is well maintained and functional. We will definitely be back.

Given the history of this property and its importance to rock fans all over the world it was a privilege to stay in this property in beautiful Montreux. The villa has quality furnishings and finished to high standard, the garden and grounds were a pleasure to relax in. The property would have benefited with access to a suitable size boat.

We really liked it and especially the facility. We particularly appreciated the kitchen, which is well equipped with knives that are sharp, several tablecloths to choose from, beautiful robust crockery, enough and different glasses, just everything you need to set a nice table for a festive meal. Everything is tasteful and has style in the classic sense. A thousand thanks, we hope it stays that way and we would very much like to come back again.

A magnificent privileged place, in a house which has seen prestigious guests stay. Magnificent view and landscape changing according to the hours and the light. Central location on the Swiss Riviera, well served by transport. The presence of stairs to access the house, and the garden with direct access to the lake should be taken into account by seniors and families with young children! If it is normal for the house to keep the charm of its 80's past, it lives a little on its achievements.

Magical stay. The place is exceptional, the history of the place is a real plus, unfortunately not exploited enough. We felt alone in the world, the view is wonderful, everything was great. A house and a magical place ("feet in the water"), with lots of original furniture, light fixtures, decorations and, above all, a soul: you would think you could still hear the vocalizations of Freddie Mercury resounding at the end of the corridor leading to his room!! The interior of the 1970s architect house takes some getting used to. But once inside, it's easy to understand that this atmosphere has inspired music greats like Freddie Mercury! We recommend visiting the exhibition QUEEN. THE STUDIO EXPERIENCE MONTREUX. The reception was friendly and in the house there was everything we needed. The location right on the lake is simply unbeatable!

The villa from the seventies is perfectly oriented towards the lake. The beautiful garden with direct access to the lake and trees from the 19th century is unique, you can live the romance of that time. The shore is only a few meters away from the bedrooms, while falling asleep and waking up we enjoyed the gentle lapping of the waves of Lake Geneva! Inside the house, a lot could be achieved with very little effort: you won't find a usable red wine glass or a sharp knife in the kitchen. A jammed door, some falling plaster and a power fuse that constantly fails are not what you would expect at this price level, the garden fixed it.
