Open kitchen (oven, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, freezer, electric coffee machine, raclette grill, fondue Set (cheese)). Bath/WC. Balcony 7 m2, south facing position. Balcony furniture. Beautiful view of Matterhorn. Facilities: hair dryer. Please note: non-smokers only. No WIFI.

Simple apartment house "Select", 4 storeys. In the district of Winkelmatten 1.1 km from the centre of Zermatt, in a quiet, sunny position, south facing position. In the house: lift, storage room for skis, central heating system. Stepped path (98 steps) to the house. Grocery 500 m, supermarket 900 m, restaurant 400 m, bakery 500 m, 15 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Luchre" 100 m, railway station "Bahnhof Zermatt" 1.1 km. Mountain railway, ski rental 650 m, ski bus stop 100 m, ski school, children's ski school 850 m. Cabs cannot stop right in front of the house. The keys‘ handover takes place by the agency Interhome in Zermatt.

The apartment is very good, I would put as things to improve that it does not have enough light in the bathroom and a microwave in the kitchen would not be bad, otherwise, spectacular views of the Matterhorn and the location, although a bit far from the E -BUS (free) in 5 minutes from the center you are 30 meters from the door.

On-site staff very helpful and friendly, great. Location of the accommodation can be reached by bus, then about 150 meters on foot either horizontally or from below via some stairs. It is clean, simple and practical, but in line with the price. But the view of the Matterhorn from the balcony is incredible. Just right for a men's trip like ours.

Clean, modern and well equipped (no microwave), bigger than the pictures, with a balcony view of the Matterhorn. Perfect for a few days with family. Good to know (no criticism): the apartment is about a 20-minute walk from the train station, the most direct route with many steep stairs means it is better to take a taxi with a lot of luggage, especially with suitcases (about 35 CHF)

It was a very nice, quiet apartment with a fantastic view. The cleanliness wasn't that great. The floor and drawers, carpet weren't that clean.

Apartment very simply furnished. Suitable for a maximum of 2 people. No bedside tables. No storage space apart from the sofa, with 8 useless pillows already half occupied. Suitcases lie on the floor. A sideboard that can be purchased cheaply from Ikea should be donated by the owner as a matter of urgency. Coffee machine only produces lukewarm coffee, renew !! Carpet in the hallway-getting old-should be glued back in place. Drawers are stuck and therefore not usable. Trash can broken.

Unfortunately, the cleaning didn't really work out. Leaked food in the fridge and the bathroom wasn't clean either. No hand soap in the bathroom and no waste bin - actually standard... It would also be appropriate not to build in the cheapest quality. Holiday homes get a lot of use so it's not surprising when cheap cupboards break easily... Would be nice to see working drawers etc.

In general this was a great place to stay. I felt that the additional charges were high given that bedding and towels were an additional charge which could not be refused. Also the charge for cleaning is high when we had to do dishes and remove garbage. It also had no wifi and no access to the building laundry facility. Otherwise it was a well fitted out kitchen and a comfortable bed with a spectacular view of the Matterhorn. It was in a quiet area but close to the town for groceries etc

This studio had everything we needed for a week of skiing in Zermatt. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bed comfortable, and the view from the balcony stunning - looking straight to the Matterhorn. The apartment was conveniently located just next to a bus stop, giving easy access to the ski area, and was a short (~10 min) walk from the center of town. Our only complaint was the lack of wifi in the apartment - with that, it would have been perfect!
