Dont come here if you are looking for a characterless modern tourist confo. Come here if you are looking for an enchanted attic lovers retreat with an amazing view of the Matterhorn. Space is a bit challenging with steep steps, low doorways, bathroom in the hallway, etc. But it will grow on you. We loved it!

Two sets of stairs to enter the unit then a ships ladder to the unit. Doorway from kitchen to living area only 5 foot 6 inches in height. Doorways to bedrooms only 5 foot 0 inches in height. Unit cluttered. Kitchen is very limited.

Very nice view, near the center, the stairs are quite steep, because of the sloping ceilings I hit my head several times.

From my point of view a very good location of the apartment near the mountain railway and shops. Everything within walking distance. The apartment is very functional and has a great view of the Matterhorn. But in my opinion it is too small for the price, too old with too low ceiling heights and doors. Permanently stooped posture necessary and head butting unavoidable. Very narrow our steep stairs. I think you get more for your money elsewhere. But maybe that has to be in Zermatt

The apartment is not suitable for seniors due to the stair access and steps within the apartment. Kitchen furniture (with the exception of large appliances) has the charm of the Brockenstuben. Replacement is recommended.

The apartment exudes historical charm, is made entirely of wood, with beautiful antique furniture and very good, modern kitchen appliances. We found the price of the apartment very expensive, but still reasonable for Zermatt standards. The balcony view of the Matterhorn alone was worth the holiday!

You live in a somewhat original part of Zermatt, we were very satisfied with that. The view of the Matterhorn is breathtaking. In addition, you can see the whole village from the apartment.

We loved the simplicity, the cachet, the location. Rustic and in its own juice. Exactly what we love.A breathtaking view of the Matterhorn.

Deficiencies: - Fire alarm in the bedroom with a loud beep is very annoying. - Head sieve shower head is missing. - Cutlery in need of replacement - W-Lan weak - Material for cleaning pans is missing - Drawers difficult to open - Sloping ceilings were not apparent from the description

Perfect location to gondola. Steep steps up to the flat, so be aware. Great customer service from interhome.

-Ascent to the apartment very difficult (my husband is paralyzed on one side after a stroke) -too LOW and dark in the bedrooms! -Kitchen has no extractor while cooking -Coffee tap machine didn't work -In the shower and sink the water didn't drain fast enough and we didn't have a broom to sweep and clean. For young, sporty and very small people rather what but no longer for us. - the positive was the view.

It is very warm and the decor may not be to everybody's taste but it is typical Swiss. It will remind you how it could have been back in the days when climbers and skiers used leather boots. The kitchen fittings are very modern though. We loved it. Not for families with babies or less than 12 year olds.

Please note: taxis cannot go up to the apartment and it is a steep slope. There is no lift and the stairs to get to the apartment are very steep too. The apartment is comfortable and very quiet. Ideally located with a very nice view of the Matterhorn. Please note: the bathroom is separate (same floor but outside the apartment) and the ceilings and doors are very low. The kitchen is very well equipped, the beds are comfortable.

The best, the location, with views of the Matterhorn and 2 minutes from downtown. The worst, the ceiling is a bit low and you have to be careful with the door frames not to hit a header, although the value for money is great.

The apartment was clean, it had everything you need for a week. It was cozy and central to us. The people at Interhom were nice. Everything went smoothly, thank you.

Extremely simple but charming attic apartment in a 200-year-old Valais wooden house...very authentic....

Cozy house, with nice view. Less good fixed floor covering in bathroom and kitchen. Electrical safety (extension cords and distribution blocks)
