We have just returned from two weeks of traveling through Switzerland and we have stayed in this apartment thanks to the advice of the blog holidaysporeuropa. We have loved it for several reasons, to highlight, the apartment itself, the views we have had from our terrace, the proximity to the train station (it was not a 5-minute walk), the common areas for the kids (highlighting its area lawn and zip line that they have enjoyed a lot). In short, highly recommended to go with family!

A beautiful, clean place to stay, centrally located. Only a few steps to the train and postbus. It is good if you take your Nespresso capsules, toilet paper and toiletries with you. But Migros and Coop are also close by. There are many fine restaurants in Meiringen, and the Sherlockholmes Fondue in the Swiss Peak Bistro is also a hit.

The apartment is neat, tidy, clean and equipped with everything. Only thing that is still missing are a few sun loungers so you can sit outside a bit more comfortably. Insulation is also very good, so you don't notice the passing trains at all. Location is also great, close to the center but not directly in the hustle and bustle.

Almost nothing is missing from this accommodation. The location is well located for activities and in the apartment you immediately feel comfortable. More could have been invested in the sofa;-) And if you want eggs for breakfast, you should bring an egg scoop. All in all, great value for money.

We have enjoyed our stay. It had everything it needs. The staff was always friendly and helpful. There is a games room and a playground. In the kitchen there was everything we needed. Thanks to good insulation, you hardly hear the train at all. Solely: beach chairs for the balcony would have been nice. The beds were unfortunately too hard for us, but the sofa bed was very comfortable. We were very satisfied and will definitely come back.

we spent a great few days at the Swisspeak Resort. Very nice service in the bistro and almost everything else was perfect. There are a few suggestions for improvement: (i) the children's menu should definitely have "naked" pasta (ii) the kid's room should definitely be opened before 10am. Beds were too soft for me and duvet too "heavy". Thanks for the great stay

The apartment was new, complete, warm and fully equipped. And very important: super clean! The distance to the gondola was fine. A short 10 minute walk. Swisspeak has its own heated, enclosed ski room at the gondola. You don't have to carry your stuff around every day. Bakery and supermarket are also within walking distance, as well as nice restaurants. We came from the Netherlands by train: the station is almost next to the complex. By the way, you won't be bothered by that.

We were very happy with the accommodation! Everything is new and very clean. We were surprised that we hardly heard anything from the neighbors or the train. Very good isolation. If I had to complain about something, I wouldn't give the sofa bed in the living room a top rating. Since the weather didn't really cooperate, we spent a day at home. The sofa is not really comfortable if you stay on it for a long time. But it's a very small minus :-)

The stay was very pleasant, the staff very friendly and helpful. The apartment was very clean and comfortably furnished. The bistro was okay too. Only the bread for the otherwise fine fondue was quite dry and partly looked like the day before. Overall, however, it was a recommendable place to stay, which is only a 5-minute walk from the cable car or for shopping.

We spent our ski vacation at Swiss Peak. Since the skis etc. could be deposited right at the valley station of the gondola lift, it was about 10 minutes. Walk also for the children 2-5 years no problem. Only the beds are high for the children, but fall protection elements can be reserved. Some children's cutlery/dishes would be an advantage. Otherwise just a great facility for a comfortable family vacation.

Nice apartment! Well furnished, clean, everything you need is there. Food in the bistro is also very tasty, the staff is very friendly. Located right in town and close to everything you need. The resort is located in the Haslital and there are mountains everywhere - beautiful! The ski lift is really max. 500 meters away. There is a ski storage room by resort - free of charge., as is the sauna. Suitable for children and dogs. Everything is very well insulated, no background noise.

Beautiful luxury apartment with complete equipment, very centrally located in the village near the station. The customer service was very bad during reception. We arrived from the Netherlands at 15.16 while the checklist time was 15.30. We had to wait until 4.30 pm while everything was ready. Furthermore, there was no free parking space at the complex and you have to park the car a 10-minute walk outside the village in a public parking lot. This is really a blunder in designing this.

I spent 6 nights with my wife in an apartment in Meiringen, it is really a very nice complex. nicely decorated. Super clean, super view and mega large balcony with electric blinds. (always sun). A good WiFi connection. It is also centrally located, 10 minutes walk from the ski lift for skiing and in our case walking, 3 minutes walk from a supermarket, ATM, bakery etc.. I will definitely come back.

Meiringen is a great starting point for great hikes and impressive nature (Rosenlaui, Reichenbach, Grimsel Pass, Hasliberg, Aare, Brienz). As a city itself, it's mostly quiet. The accommodation is very modern, clean and well maintained. We felt very comfortable. Only the couch, which can also be converted into a sofa bed, squeaked in every condition and was a bit uncomfortable.

Two minor grievances for me were that the mattress was too hard for me personally and that there was no soap in the accommodation - and there was no disinfectant to be found in the entrance either - and that in the times of Corona.

I find it outrageous that you have to pay for an extra terry towel and a 3rd toilet paper roll. There should be a towel anyway, apart from the personal towels for the washbasin. Just a toothglass in the bathroom is not enough. The "hooks" in the bathroom are unusable and there aren't enough. The counter space is minimal. Less styled and more practical, I would have liked it better. The staff was very friendly and competent.

Very nice, comfortable apartment, well equipped, very large balcony. Central but quiet location. The little train definitely doesn't bother me. The parking lot in the underground garage was ok. The signs in the basement to the houses, underground car park, etc... don't work at all. The booked breakfast is good, extensive. The staff is helpful, starting with the guide, who briefly explains the check-in process, parking space, etc. All in all a nice area and for us a great alternative.

A picture with a garden apartment does not automatically mean that you will get this apartment; must be requested in writing. take off bedclothes yourself; find should be included in this price range. Bed very short (I'm 167 cm and feet came over the edge of the bed). Very, very clean and practically furnished. Great with toddlers. Very central. Lots of great discounts for activities in the area.

The apartment itself is in a great location in Meiringen and is modern and comfortably furnished. However, the service is poor. The staff has no uniform process, very complicated and not really friendly at first. You have to report everything yourself, because nothing is really explained to you at check-in, for example regarding the guest card. Paying an additional CHF 10.00 per day for the parking lot is also not at all appropriate given these rental prices for the apartments.

We would have liked more wall hooks in the bathroom and entrance area to hang up clothes or towels. But there is a drying rack. For a whole week we would have liked a second set of towels. But it costs a lot extra.

The processing at the front desk went quickly, a subsequently noticed error (number of guests) was corrected without further ado. The apartment was very clean, seemed well-kept, "homey". The balcony was generously dimensioned, the view of the mountains was wonderful. The only thing that bothered me was the unpleasant smell in the bathroom, the ventilation wasn't working. This was remedied with shock ventilation. Thanks again to the front desk, I was helped promptly and friendly with questions and concerns.

Unfortunately, as previously announced, the lounge and the toilets at reception were not accessible upon arrival. We were there about 1 hour earlier than the reception opens. After a long journey, you usually go straight to the toilet. Mattresses from the bed and pull-out couch are a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise everything was really top we have already reserved for the coming year.

We were very happy with our stay. The apartment was very spacious and we had a beautiful view of the mountains. We would only criticize the mattresses, which were too hard for us, as well as the nearby train station (trains that pass through and are audible). We found the location practical for excursions in the Bernese Oberland. Customer service was very friendly. We'd love to come back!

Very clean and modern, good facilities and good mattresses. Also nice children's room. Two disadvantages: Check-in only from 4:00 p.m. and the whole area is right in front of the train tracks.

Very nice clean rooms. Friendly staff. Unfortunately, there was a very long wait on arrival. The parking lot was very far away (7min. Walk). Bad catering option! The children were very disappointed with the opening times of the playrooms. Half of the games were sometimes even out of order.

We booked an apartment for 2 adults and 1 child. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the apartment. We didn't even dare to cook on the cooking plates which seemed new! Spacious, large bedroom, large bathroom, very large balcony. The only negative is the noise from other hotel guests (loud talking, loud music, screaming kids). Otherwise, the reception staff are lovely and very attentive.

List what must be done when checking out (take off the bed...) Small table for 4 people. Very little storage space. The apartment is well equipped, new and had everything you need. The administration still has room for improvement. Check-in is possible between 4 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. When we arrived (5:28 p.m.) we tried to call that the check-in reception would only be open for one hour? 2 days later another call, my vehicle is in the wrong place. Even though I was standing exactly where I was allotted? From Thursday then party mile, noise until 2:00 a.m. at night.

From the first moment we felt at home in the Swisspeak resort in Meiringen. The lovingly furnished apartments with the beautiful wooden elements and the harmonious color scheme exude harmony and style. Despite the freezing cold, the apartment was wonderful. The kitchen was well equipped and the location of the resort for grocery shopping was perfect. The gondola can be reached on foot in a few minutes. Playroom, sauna & ski container are a great addition. Holidays to dream about!

New and comfortable apartament, perfectly fits a family of 4. Located in the city center, walking distance to supermarket and skibus stop. Train station situated next to the resort didn't disturb at all. The apartaments are soundproof so no noise could be heard. I really liked the idea with ski room situated next to the ski-lift (no need to carry the equipment back and forth)

Very modern and beautiful apartment, great location, everything clean and well furnished. Also suitable for small children. High chair a bit awkward, has to be picked up at the reception (note, not open all the time!9) instead of directly in the apartment. Breakfast for pick up didn't work out, too bad!
