Neat, well-maintained, and clean holiday home with views of the Eiger and Wetterhorn. The owners are friendly and helpful. Free bus service to the village listed on the Guest Map is ideal for excursions. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return. July 26 to August 9, 2025

I recommend the apartments. For us, the location is perfect. Beautiful mountain views, 2.5 km to the town, a quiet and peaceful location, a bus stop right next to the house, and public transport runs every half hour from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The apartments are very clean and well-equipped, with an electric grill, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, loungers, hairdryer, etc. The apartment is large and spacious. Highly recommended. The owner is very kind and helpful.

It is a beautiful and quiet lodging where you can feel the assimilation of nature while looking at the northern wall of the beautiful Iger, and have a precious time to rest, relax, and feel life in a busy daily life. The kindness of the host is an indispensable attraction. I would like to make a reservation again next time. Thank you.

The landlords live upstairs. They are very friendly people. Everything you want is present in the house! And a great view. 10/10

Perfectly located, apartment clean, very well equipped, everything works, landlord nice, helpful, courteous. Terrace with a view of Mettenberg and Eiger. The only disadvantage is perhaps the bedroom facing the street

We have been to Grindelwald on vacation before, but this was our first time at the Lohnerhus and it was very nice. The apartment is clean and practically furnished. The view of the Eiger from the terrace is wonderful. We were very satisfied

The accommodation is at the end of the village but easily accessible by car and bus and is quiet. Rooms clean and landlord very nice.

Apartment was great, very clean, nice seating area with a fantastic mountain view, to relax and in a sunny location. Somewhat small fridge, and only filter coffee machine. We liked it.

Quiet, sunny location away from Grindelwald Dorf with a great view of the high mountains, ideal starting point for snowshoe hikes, good public transport connections by bus to the ski areas and toboggan runs every 15 minutes. Very friendly and helpful landlord

I felt very comfortable in this charming 2-room apartment with a patio. The landlords are super friendly and helpful. The apartment itself is a bit outside of the village center, but is close to a bus stop and ideal for going on various hikes directly from there.

We felt very comfortable, the terrace and the location are a dream, very quiet. But you can quickly get to the center by bus. The apartment is perfect for 2 people. A great holiday!
