Beautiful apartment house "Chalet Almisgässli", built in 2009. In the district of Almis, 100 m from the centre, excellent location: right in the centre but still quiet, south facing position. In the house: storage room for skis, central heating system. Motor access to the house. In Winter: please take snow chains. Roofed, parking at the house. Supermarket 200 m, shopping centre, restaurant 100 m, bar 200 m, bakery 300 m, bicycle rental 200 m, bus stop "Firstbahn" 200 m, railway station "Grindelwald Dorf" 500 m, indoor swimming pool 400 m. Golf course (9 hole) 2.5 km, tennis 2 km, minigolf 200 m, sports centre 400 m, gondola lift 300 m, ski rental, ski bus stop 200 m, cross country ski track 2 km, children's playground 400 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thuner-/Brienzersee 18 km. Please note: no lift. Ski bus (free of charge).

The apartment is very spacious and has a super nice view of the mountains. It is very central and it is still nice and quiet. Unfortunately, the kitchen is very spartan, a reasonable stove with oven and an associated extractor hood would have been nice. The apartment is suitable for up to 5 people. 2 hotplates are just not enough for that. But that is the only point of criticism for this apartment. The rest is perfectly fine.

Large beautiful apartment in chalet style! Close to the center (train and cable car station, all shops within walking distance), yet in a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle, with an idyllic view of the mountains and nature. Large bathroom, large rooms - only storage space for clothes in the two bedrooms that we used - the middle box area was locked and could not be used. I would still book this apartment again!

Friendly, clean accommodation, quiet and yet easily accessible. The view from the balcony is wonderful. The stove only has two burners, making it difficult for the family to cook. On the whole, however, highly recommended accommodation.

The apartment is very central but quiet, only 1 minute up the hill and you are on the main road that runs through Grindelwald. The view from the balcony is phenomenal, with an unobstructed view of the Eiger, the Fiescherhörner, Pfingstegg and the Kleine Scheidegg. The apartment itself is very nice, wood paneled, bright and spacious with a large bathroom, shower that works perfectly and good kitchen facilities. The wifi worked perfectly. Conclusion: highly recommended!

The apartment is in the center of Grindelwald. Coop, Migros and the First Bahn are only a 5-minute walk away. From the balcony has an uninterrupted view of the mountains. The apartment was very clean and the handover at the beginning and at the end was extremely uncomplicated. The two-burner stove is the only drawback and could be replaced with a larger stove and oven.

Spacious apartment well located. Steep Alminngäsli street and requires 4WD or snow chains. Unfortunately, the apartment does not have an oven.

The apartment is centrally located in the village center of Grindelwald. It is large and has a special view of the Eiger. Clean, new and covered parking. We were there in the summer. The road can be slippery in winter.

Beautiful attic apartment in a central location: Firstbahn, Migros, Coop, mini golf and train station can be reached on foot in 3-8 minutes. We particularly liked the great view and the spacious living room. Cooking options are limited with only two burners. But we didn't want to cook elaborately during the holidays. In addition, fine pizza or Chinese take-away food can be picked up within 3 minutes walking distance. Overall, we can highly recommend the apartment

Plus points: large, bright attic apartment, nice rooms and nice and spacious bathroom. Beautiful view of the Eiger north face. Microwave available. Heated ski room, large entrance with cloakroom in the stairwell. Cons: kitchen only has 2 plates; Depending on the size of the pans used, both cannot be used at the same time! Be sure to bring an extension cord for the raclette oven. Seating area in the living area not very comfortable: neither cushions nor chairs.

This apartment is spacious in a simple and uncluttered style and well designed, with the notable exception of the kitchen and its clearly insufficient equipment for the accommodation capacity: two hot plates (two large saucepans at the same time impossible) for five people (plus baby), without hood ... Perfect location near the center.
